Get picked up from your accommodation, harbour or airport, and depart towards Mindelo city center.
Mindelo
Explore Mindelo, the capital of the island, known as the most welcoming and attractive city in the country. Visit its church, municipal market, pass through Cesária Évora's house and enjoy a panoramic view of the capital from the top of Fortin. The tour will continue along the Avenida Marginal to Praia da Bote to the African market, where the first community was established.

5.00Our guide picked us up at the gate as agreed upon. Our driver came later. We proceeded to downtown Mindelo for a walking tour for over an hour. Our driver explained the sights very well in good English. He was very organized. Our driver was very good too. Opened doors for us, made sure we were safe when getting out of the car or crossing the street. He drove safely and took care of our belongings left in the car . We saw all the sights per itinerary and allowed time to appreciate them. We did not feel rushed. Our guide and driver were very courteous. They were very knowledgeable. We highly recommend them.

5.00William, our driver guide was awesome. Car was comfortable. We saw everything on the itinerary and then some. William was very interesting, knowledgeable and accommodating. The sights were beautiful. The city and island are absolutely beautiful. We definitely recommend visiting here and using these guys for their service. Well done. Wish we could give more than five stars.

5.00Freddy was an excellent guide for the day. He speaks EXCELLENT English. With both travelers having walking difficulties, Freddy took exceptional care of us both. Made stops with short walks, or really good pass by views. Very knowledgeable about history of the island and present conditions. Highly recommend this tour and THIS tour guide.

5.00Our guide Madela was outstanding and informative. Gave an in depth coverage of the Island's history past and present. Highly recommend him. Vehicle clean and new and in good condition, which is needed for the roads on the Island. Driver Willy most competed.

5.00Miguel was a fantastic guide. One of the first things he asked about was whether we wanted to make lunch reservations. We said No, and he adjusted the schedule accordingly. We really appreciated his local knowledge. Our favorite stops were the walk through the markets in town, the stroll in the waters at the lagoon, and the view from the mountain top. Highly recommended!
