ST Barthelemy is a great island to do absolutely, but watch out for car hire

5.00Superb island very clean, road in good condition but which rise and turn constantly. We had rented a car through Rentîles as we did plenty of times and always satisfied with their services, but this time it didn't really go well with the renter Bionex. Indeed car clean at the shed, statement of departure already made on our arrival except that it lacks several unwritten shocks. We do corrected and on our return to the exit observation we try to make us take a shock that was already there (well noted by us) but is more important! No skirmish on our side and no proof is provided! We refuse to sign the declaration of return. We're still waiting for this case to proceed, but it's clear that there's been an attempt at fraud. We will not leave it at that. Provider to flee, do not trust him and take pictures of everything. Otherwise we had a great day arrived by ferry in the morning at 10am from St Martin, beautiful scenery during the crossing and arrived on Gustavia superb. We went to see Johnny Hallyday's grave located in the Lorient neighborhood. It is full of flowers and little words, in 30 minutes we stayed there we met about fifteen people. After we made the bays of the island all more beautiful than each other with swimming of course! Warning prices on Gustavia are horribly high but you can find things much cheaper inside the island. To see of course the arrival of small planes on the airport at the top of the hill at the roundabout, it is a clean sweep! And what a view again... The day with ferry, car rental and picnic lunch cost us about 250€ for 2 people.

5.00We spent an exceptional day by boat from Saint Martin to Saint Barthélemy, accompanied by Chris, our captain. He was incredibly kind, considerate and kind throughout the tour, making this experience even more enjoyable. The scenery was simply beautiful, postcard-worthy. Every place visited was unique and really amazing. Chris created a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, which made this adventure even more memorable. We recommend this experience 100%! Many thanks to Chris for an unforgettable day. 🌴⛵️
