We had an extra day in La Paz at the end of our trip so decided to go on this tour. We had a great guide in Leo and driver in Javier. It took around 2 hours to get to the site as there was some traffic going through El Alto on market Sunday. Leo was very knowledgable with history on the site - definitely think you need a guide when visiting this site. The ruins themselves may be underwhelming for some but we enjoyed visiting the ruins and the museums. Lunch was included in the tour and we ate at a nearby restaurant - lunch was good with a quinoa soup followed by a meat dish (I had chicken) and choose your own sides.

The visit was unforgettable. Both René and the driver took care of us and tried a sublime way, giving us valuable information about Tiwanaku and Puma Punku. The visit was very well organized, everything to the detail leaving us a very good taste in the mouth. Definitely recommended.

Good enough if you just want to learn a bit of Bolivian archeology. But our guide, Diego, was very good, giving us information beyond this experience. Even our driver, Alvaro, contributed some things about Bolivia, which we appreciated.

It was the most important day of my ten-day trip to Peru and Bolivia, and Javier (the driver) and Diego (the guide) took me exactly to the places I wanted to go and in the way I wanted to go: with time to appreciate and feel the energy of the archaeological sites of Tiwnaku. I can only thank them for the kindness and care with which I was treated by both. I hope to return one day!

We were looking for a day trip from La Paz, since we had an extra day in Bolivia. All the reviews we read for other companies didn't give us hope that we will find a tour company that would suit us. 2 days before we left for our trip, I accidently found On Experiences. I booked the trip and started communicating with them right away. I loved their professionalism and decided to cancel my other day trips and re-book with them. I am so glad We did. Kevin was just amazing, a well full of knowledge on the history and details. Answered all our questions. The tour was private so we moved at our own pace for viewing and visiting. He also takes great pictures. I recommend On Experiences in a heart bit. I am definitely passing along their name to my friends when visiting Bolivia.
