• Average Experience – Okay If You Just Want to Pass Time

  We did this full-day tour in Grenada and had an overall satisfactory experience. Dexter was our guide and we were picked up directly from the cruise port, which was convenient. If you have nothing specific planned in Grenada and are simply looking to pass time, this tour can work. However, do not expect anything exceptional. The Concord Waterfall was just okay — nothing particularly special, and similar waterfalls can be found near many towns elsewhere. The chocolate factory stop was fine. The main benefit is being able to buy chocolates at a lower price than in town, which makes for decent souvenirs for yourself or for friends and family. The River Antoine Rum Distillery was the highlight of the tour, but only because of the factory guide there. He has around 15 years of experience and explains the process very well, with solid knowledge and clear, factual answers to questions. That stop was genuinely worth it. As for the tour guiding overall, while Dexter did provide information about the country and places, it was not clearly audible since there was no mic or speaker — he was mostly shouting. The explanations felt dry and not very engaging. Lunch was also quite underwhelming: a basic one-course meal that would not really fill you up. Overall, an average tour. It is fine if you want a structured day without high expectations, but it is not a must-do experience in Grenada.

  This Tour was the most affordable I could find as I was on a budget and I felt it was good value for money as it included lunch and free entry to Concord Waterfall, Grand Etang Park, aswell as a long series of drives through hilly terrain during a 6 hour tour. Rolli, the tour guide is Grenadian born so has personal insight into Grenada. His commentary throughout the trip was really interesting, especially some stories he told in parts, which built up suspense and interest. He was good at trying to warm up the group from the outset and making you feel comfortable. Grenada is hilly and roads are bumpy, but this is the geography of the island. The views were lovely and the tour loop gave you a good insight into the main sights of Grenada including extra details throughout the journey such as local infrastructure, political buildings, hidden sites and sports heritage. The lunch was lovely, it is local Grenadian Food for you to try and the restaurant had a lovely view. The rum distillery and chocolate factory were generous in samples and very reasonably priced for souvenirs, I would say marked down from local retail price, so they didn't feel like a tourist trap, but instead enjoyable as you could spend as little or as much as you wanted and still get something nice. The rum sampling was great, as was the chocolate sampling. Overall I recommend this tour, especially to those new on the island or wanting a really good overview of Grenada. It also suits people who are not staying long on the island as it really covers a lot of features. We even managed to see monkeys in Grand Etang, although this depends on if they are roaming nearby when you pull up. I would recommend this tour, over hiring a private taxi or local taxi service, as Rolli adds a really nice commentary to the whole journey which I don't think you would get with a privatised transport operative.   100% must do experience !!! It’s a very full day but worth it - sightseeing , chocolate factory , rum distillery , lakes , waterfall - all sprinkled with history of the people and the island The waterfall is cool but really refreshing - we were surprised by how interesting and well done the distillery tour and chocolate tour were - lots of info and nicely presented - You circle the entire island !!! The roads are twisting and winding but Michael was like an F1 driver and we felt well looked after Sign up now !

  Brian Roberts was beyond awesome. He was our driver and made the experience truly wonderful. He showed us some of the true gems in the area. He was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to about the area.

  The tour was spectacular! This was was our first full day on the island and it was a wonderful way to get acquainted with locations, traditions, and the island itself. Being as it was Christmas Eve, the itinerary shifted a bit, but that was fine and made for a great day. Michael was our tour guide and he really made the day special.   Great tour of the island, from 9am til around 5pm. Very informative driver / guide (Rolly), everything was included in the price, including lunch. Highly recommended 👍

  The tour is a great experience and gives you a good opportunity to visit key sites in Grenada. Our guide, Rolley, was a fantastic host - we learned a lot about the island and enjoyed his good humour.

  If you are on a cruise ensure that the times ate clear fir the full day trip. As a result of the driver arriving late, I was not confident I wd arrive back in time for my ship deoartire. Driver, upon arrival, confirmed this. I was seated originallly onna hald day bus with fellow cruise pax, I said I wd just go with the hakf day tour, but was ejected and told thete was no room on tjat mini bus. Fast firward 15 mins and the driver was tecalled to iys original deoarture point with some angry felloe travellers having wasted 20 mins and an apologetic me boarding the bus. The trip itself was really good. I am not criticising any asoect of it. The irganisation is lacking and I have asked Viator to intervene fir a refund. I paid £87 for a full day and got a half day, so I am insistimg inna partial fefund if the difference.
