Drina River House

Here you will have the opportunity to take a photo with the Internet celebrity attraction Drina River House. The cabin in the river is a postcard-like landscape in Serbia, which has attracted the attention of the world because of its appearance in National Geographic magazine in August 2012. There is a very meaningful story hidden behind the cabin in the river. In 1968, in order to enrich their childhood life, the two teenagers living in the town of Bayina Bashta built a small wooden house on the reef in the river at home as a base for their friends. Unfortunately, this small river will be flooded every March, and there will be a large-scale flood every 5-10 years. The original hut did not last long and was destroyed by a flood. However, the hearts of these two teenagers were as tough as Serbia, and they did not succumb to nature and rebuilt the hut time and time again. The cabin we are now in is the seventh generation.

Unfortunately, it was bad weather. So the trip did not go as expected. We didn't see it by nature we expected. But we had a sweet guide who was trying to come up with something else. You took a train and saw a wooden town instead - fine enough, but not the same and very tourist .

Tara was a beautiful part of Serbia me and my friend wanted to see. We were very happy with the results. Goran, the guide, did an amazing job explaining to us all the scenic views, accommodating us on where we wanted to go, was a fantastic driver overall, and was very pleasant to speak too. I highly recommend this trip, especially with Goran!

Tour was amazing. I've done tours all over the world (6 continents 13 countries) and this was one of the best I've been on. I ended up in Serbia on a whim and wasn't sure what to expect the photos on the ad looks edited to me but figured I'd give it a shot. This tour was more than I could've imagine the views were unbelievable and the guide Milo's was the best guide I've had. He went above and beyond. I'd recommend Milo's to anyone interested in any tour, his English was great and he was very knowledgeable.

Milos was a great guide and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable. Took me to some great unknown sights for photo opportunities as he knew that was my main interest. Would highly recommend this trip and Milos as your guide and driver

Wonderful experience, many hours of touring through very beautiful and interesting parts of Serbia, the Drina river is really nice and all the surroundings as well. The guide taught me so much about Serbian culture and history. Now I can’t wait to go back, fell in love with the country.
