Lan Ha Bay
8.30am: Start from our office and take a bus 5 minutes to the pier. Visiting Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village, you will learn how people fish, grow fish and how is the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arches to see some tunnels and discover Dark Cave (depend on the tie level), Bat Cave and Bright Cave; stop at Ba Trai Dao beach for swimming and snorkeling.
Halong Bay
Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes in less touristy areas. Enjoy the beauty of hundred limestone islands. 12.00 Have lunch on the boat. Come back Lan Ha Bay by a different route to enjoy more beautiful scenery. Swimming at another secluded sandy beach. Return to Cat Ba town at 5.30 - 6pm.

5.00We had a fantastic day out in Lan Ha & Ha Long bays with our knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic guide Hang. Though the weather wasn't favourable for our trip, we enjoyed the swimming and kayaking spots where we were the only people there and could really take in the beauty of the surroundings. Unfortunately we were told that Vietnamese govt policy now forbids kayaking in caves, but our route still explored scenic and exciting lagoons and we explored some caves via a group rowing boat. The lunch and snacks provided by the boat crew was great, and other snacks and drinks on board were reasonably priced. All in all it was a fantastic and memorable day in gorgeous surroundings made better by the great Cat Ba Ventures team - cheers :)

5.00It was amazing, we did: kayak, swimming, seeing a fish farm, a little boat ride and our guide Tony explained us everything. All for the price of round about 32€ from 8:20am-17:00 pm. We also had lunch, which included fish and Seafood (like squid, shrimp and Oyster) and there where vegetarian/ vegan options for vegetarian and vegan people as well as fruit later. We did the tour on the 20th of January 2026.

5.00Thanks to Ben and all the staff, able to attract and involve people really interested in nature and discovering this enchanting place that is Lan Ha Bay, we experienced with my brother one of the most special things of this long trip to Vietnam! Absolutely recommended!!

5.00Highly recommend this day trip! Beautiful scenery, tasty and plentiful lunch, went swimming twice, kayaking was a highlight, we got off the boat to visit a fishing village and we even saw a group of monkeys hidden on some rocks.

5.00We had a lovely day exploring the bay, Ben was our enthusiastic tour guide and explained everything very clearly. The weather was great so we enjoyed the activities like swimming and kayaking even more. Would recommend!

5.00Despite the clouds and rain I thought it was a very nice tour! Everything was super well arranged, very extensive and tasty lunch. Ben is a top guide, because we could ask him anything and he could tell us a lot. A beautiful experience and absolutely recommended!

5.00This was a fantastic day with Cat Ba Ventures. We covered a lot of ground and got to see so much beautiful scenery. Our tour included four stops for swimming, kayaking, a bamboo boat ride, and a visit to a fish farm. The pacing was just right. Our favorite was the kayaking in a quiet place in the bay. Lunch was tasty and the boat was comfortable. Tony was a terrific guide - he had a lot of information to share, answered questions, and was very personable. He helped make the tour a success. Not only did we really enjoy our day, it was a great value for the price. I definitely recommend this tour if you are in Cat Ba!
