We travelled in a minibus for an hour to Dalyan which is a fishing village. There is a comfort break in between where you can get refreshments and use the bathroom. We first went to the mud baths where the water to the mud barrels was very slippery so be careful. You apply 4 different types of mud, taking showers in between which was fun. You could skip this if you don’t fancy it. We then got some light lunch of kebab patties, rice and salad, you have to purchase the drinks. After lunch we sailed to Turtle Bay on a river with amazing views and were guided to see the Tombs built into cliffs. We arrived at the turtle bay and can purchase crabs to eat at £11. The shells are used to attract the turtles. I didn’t feel were given a long enough time at Turtle Bay (1.5hrs) but both Sonney and Dimitri made sure everyone saw a Turtle which was wonderful. We then returned back along the river and back to our coach. It was a lovely day for £25 each xx

Only 1h30m on the boat, 1h30m at the mud bath, 1h30 at the beach. In addition, there were no turtles at “turtle beach” and the food that was provided was horrible. The attractions were nice though we just needed more time overall. Considering the overall journey time was 5h30m each way, the activities could have been atleast the same if not a little bit more time than the travel time.

A fun day out, enjoyed by all. We had a very small baby and they enjoyed the mud baths but the mud was cold, however the showers were lovely and warm. There was a lovely gentleman who helped us grab a clean towel and told us the best way to wash the mud off. Make sure to let the mud fully dry. You only have time for one maybe two, so pick, as different ones do different things. If you try to do all the mud baths, they won't dry and it doesn't have the same quality. The tour was easy and not strenuous. No walking, just off bus, on boat. Pram friendly but we didn't bring one. One super highlight- We didn't stop by any gimmick stores i.e a friend's store to be sold knick-knacks. So we got extra time at the tourist spots. We saw lots and lots of turtles DO BUY the crab for them. It's not cheap BUT it entinces them. We saw more than four all splashing about. They are BIG. Also there were 50 people but it didn't feel like it. Got to chat to people and they were kind and friendly. Not overcrowded at all. Plus more crab, which meant more turtles.

We had a fab time at the mud baths but sadly not much turtle activity due to the time of season we visited, The trip was meant to be on the boat from marmaris to the dalaman river see the turtles first then go to mud baths but sadly we spent two hours on a coach transfer to the dalaman river and we ended up doing the mud baths first which seemed strange to us as most of us went to lunch with wet clothing The food served at lunch was absolutely delicious compliments to the chef! Demetrius our tour guide was very informative and friendly 10 out of 10 :) The trip was definitely a must do while in marmaris our family thoroughly enjoyed it!
