This tour will give you the opportunity to experience both traditional culture and pop culture in Tokyo, combining two of the cities most famous and popular areas, Shinjuku and Shibuya. If you’re low on time, and want to experience two of Tokyo’s hot spots, this is the perfect tour for you.

The tour will provide guests with a well balanced itinerary including a museum, a garden and park, shrines, famous landmarks and modern architecture.

Meet your tour guide at Yotsuya Sanchome train station outside of the ticket gates at the yellow information stand in front of the ticket gates Guided tour around Shinjuku Historical Museum and some time for you to explore if you wish

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

From the museum you will walk 20 minutes to your next destination Shinjuku Gyoen Park and Gardens. You will have a guided tour of Shinjuku Gyoen Park and enjoy a matcha and wagashi experience at the Park’s tea house. You will then walk for 15 minutes from Shinjuku Gyoen to our next destination, a hidden shrine within the heart of Shinjuku. Your guide will tell you about the Shrine and its history. You will then have time to take photos and explore.

Jeff was amazing. He greeted us at our appointed meeting place and off we went. Although the day was hot, Jeff made our tour a breeze with his broad knowledge of where to go how to get there, and what to do when we arrived. Jeff is easy going and ready to make adjustments as circumstances dictate. The hot and humid weather became a comfort factor towards the end of the day. Jeff was able to navigate us to cooler climes. We were able to see and do everything we expected from our tour, and more. 5 stars to Jeff.

Our tour guide Beth provided us with an excellent tour around Shinjuku and Shibuya, and I really can't say enough good things about our experience! She is very knowledgeable of the area and its history, and was kind enough to carry my souvenirs in her bag so I could have my hands free as we explored. Then when when I forgot to get them from her before parting ways, she went above and beyond to return them to me. Beth also followed up with us after the tour, providing a personalized list of local points of interest based on our discussions during the day, such as exhibits and restaurants. She informed us of other tours that Snow Monkey Resorts offers, and I would be thrilled to use them again when travelling, and will happily recommend this tour to anyone I meet who is travelling to this region.

Our trip to Japan was filled with unforgettable moments, but meeting Beth and having her guide us through Shinjuku and Shibuya was truly a standout experience!
