  This is a great tour. Diogo was amazing, patient and very knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend this tour- you won’t be disappointed. The weather wasn’t on our side but we still had a great time and got to see a lot of Maderia.

  We were very impressed with our guide Ricardo. He was pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. The tour lasted longer than we had anticipated and contained all that he promised.   A wonderful day. A great guide! We took the East island tour today. Lots of beautiful sights. Driver/guide spoke perfect English and knew all the quickest ways to get to the sights. I’m looking forward to my next trip with Diogo.

  We booked a tour trip around Madeira with Diogo and with his guidance we had the best experience of Madeira. He was very informative and told us many facts about Madeira and was such a safe driver. He was very friendly and we really recommend him if you want the best guidance around Madeira! If we come back we will definitely book with him again!! Alex and Dace

  This was a terrific experience for 7 people. We were picked up at the pier according to schedule, and Diego was quite responsive to all questions before the tour. He is personable and very knowledgeable about Madeira, and gave us the opportunity to modify the tour as desired. The van is comfortable and well maintained. If you have a chance to tour with Diego, don’t hesitate! You’ll have a wonderful excursion.

  Diogo picked us up six girls directly at the cruise ship and gave us an unforgettable day in Madeira. Being a local, he told us an incredible amount about his homeland – real insider information that you wouldn’t otherwise get. He took us to the famous sleigh ride, made a great video of us there and was attentive and helpful all the time. At my request for lemons, he even got us local fruit, which we could taste together – just great! 🍋🍍 After that followed a beautiful sightseeing tour, also to the fishing village. Diogo is a very nice, polite, courteous, funny and friendly guide. We can recommend it 100% and give it a clear 10 out of 10! Thank you for this great day in Madeira!

  Amazing time spent with Diogo while visiting Funchal on a cruise in November. Communication leading up to the day was great and Diogo was there waiting right outside the port exit doors. Travelling with someone that has walking difficulties and uses a frame can be stressful. No such worries on this day trip, the mini van was spacious, comfortable and plenty of room for the frame in the back. Diogo was so kind and helped my father in and out of the van. The trip itself was great, visiting some beautiful places and getting really interesting commentary from Diogo on the journey. • Highlights of Madeira

  This was a fabulous excursion of Madeira. Our guide/driver was very flexible as our ship was delayed by a storm. Diogo kept in constant contact with us and picked us up when our ship arrived. He drove us all over Madeira and showed us the highlights. He spoke English and Portuguese and discussed the history of the island, the economy, and the inhabitants. He answered all of our questions about the area. He is a native of Madeira and is very proud of his country. He was very flexible with our visits to different sites and is an excellent driver. He also gave us a recommendation of a local restaurant which had wonderful food and atmosphere. We will definitely hire Diogo when we return to this beautiful island.

  Absolutely wonderful! Can I give 10 stars? We first met Diogo last year when we visited Madeira with my daughter and grandchildren, seven of us in all. He gave us a super day , views of the Nun’s valley, and taking football- mad grandson to see Christian Ronaldo’s statue. This year it was just my husband Tim and myself . Tim has terminal cancer and Diogo went out of his way make sure Tim was comfortable. We had a lovely 5 hours , visiting Camara de Logos, Botannical gardens, Christ statue and the market. Diogo suggested ways and paths to make walking easier for Tim. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and conversations. He is a delightful, caring and thoughtful young man. Thank you so much, Diogo!
