5.00We had the best time with Lalli! He is so knowledgeable, passionate and accommodating. It was raining quite a bit so we were not sure about going for the tour but so so glad we did. Very informational, engaging and you get to hang out with a cool earnest guy telling you all about Iceland!

5.00I didn’t know what to expect, but it wasn’t ‘funky’ in the typical sense; no disco music or polyester bell bottoms 🕺🪩. Our guide, Lalli, was a fantastic storyteller! He offered a local tour & a comprehensive Icelandic history lesson in bite size chunks from cleverly planned public oratory locations. The ‘funky’ tour concluded with an unexpected yet heartwarming moral. We signed up for the tour to learn something about the city & it’s history. We got an excellent version of that, but more importantly we discovered a little bit about human nature - we are all flawed, but can learn and improve. Both my 16 year old son & I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson…and the hot dog!!

5.00Our tour with Lalli was one of the highlights of our trip. He was incredibly informative, entertaining, and passionate about Icelandic history and culture. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and his storytelling kept us engaged the entire time. We learned so much while also laughing and having an amazing experience exploring Reykjavík!

5.00With only a 23 hour layover in Reykjavik, this was the perfect experience to get an overall snapshot of Iceland's history. Lalli is a great storyteller and a delightful person to learn from.

5.00Lalli was our Reykjavik tour guide and he was excellent. He started with the settlement by Viking explorers, and then discussed the history in chronological order to the present day. He didn't overwhelm with information. He simply discussed the history in a fun and entertaining way. During our tour, Lalli pointed out several interesting sites and statues. We even stopped at a hot dog stand where we sampled a traditional Icelandic hot dog. Lalli helped to make our first day in Iceland very enoyable.

5.00Lalli was a great tour guide. He told interesting, funny, and poignant stories about Iceland and its history. He showed us the major landmarks in the city and gave great recommendations about which attractions to visit and how to save money on our trip. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00This walking tour of Reykjavik was on of the best tours we have been on in any city. My husband and I travel to many countries and have booked tours like this through Airbnb and Trip Advisors and by far this was one to remember, just fantastic. Lalli is a true historian and was engaging and funny! We would book additional tours with Funky Iceland on our next trip back.
