Great experience with Abdelali. We really got to know the medina and its secrets. It's a great way to explore the city! Also Abdelali was really kind and would answer everyone's questions about Fes, Morocco, politics, anything. Would definitely recommend! You can just come to Funky Fes hostel and join the tour, which starts at 10 am, and takes around 3-4 hours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Abdelali. So much, in fact, that we were sure to get his whatsapp upon departure to share his details with loved ones should they ever visit Fez. We learned, laughed and bonded with the other group members. So grateful for all the education about this beautiful country and people.

Amazing tour by Abdelali. Very informative and went to all of the must see places and more! I appreciated that he communicated well with us and locals and there was no pressure when going around any of the shops to buy anything! Well worth it! And great recommendations for a delicious BBQ lunch.

We had the chance to meet the group in the middle of the medina, Abdel Ali kindly invited us to join the tour and we did not regret. It was very nice to be guided in the frenzy of the Medina, the history of the place is fascinating and very well explained. A big thank you Abdel Ali who, in addition to being multilingual, has humor and has at heart to discover his city.

Abdelali was an excellent tour guide. This was perfect for us to see the highlights of Fes, get information on the history and culture. He gave us tips and tricks to navigate the Medina by ourselves. He also offered to help us with anything else we needed while in Fes. This is a must do in Fes.

The tour with Abdelali was the first thing we did after our arrival at Fes, and that was honestly the best decision ever. He gave us so much tips and tricks for when we stroll the Medina by ourselves. The tour, as mentioned, is more focused on culture/history, which is what we wanted. He's also an extremely knowledgable person, not just about Fes, which is where he was born and raised - but just in general. Definitely the kind of person you can have stimulating conversations with. He also told us if we need anything or need any help during our stay at Fes, we can send a message to his cell number on whatsapp. Also, at the end of the tour he also took us to a restaurant where we could have lunch for local Moroccan price, and not what the menu reflects :) Absolutely recommend this tour as the first thing to do in Fes!

Abdul is a fantastic ambassador for what Morocco is about. Open, kind and fun. The tour is full of helpful points of reference, historic context and cultural insight. Probably much better than the ones that charge. Abdul is worth the top price for his care and inclusion of his group.

Very complete tour, with a manageable number of attendees. Enjoyed visiting key places in Fez medina plus all the cultural information and observations highlighted by the Tour guide. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful every time we had questions (even if non-tour related). He was also stopping from time to time to ensure we did not lost anybody from the group which I found also very nice. Totally recommend it!

Abdelali was an amazing guide, and you can tell that he really loves and appreciates his beautiful city of Fes! His deep rooted knowledge of the medina is very apparent and the locals seem to have a lot of respect for him. Honestly, simply having a local guide show you around the medina helps to deter shop vendors from harassing you, and keeps away the local husslers that follow you around trying to get a coin from giving you unwanted recommendations. Abdelali explained some very interesting cultural facts about Fes, Morocco, Africa, and the Islamic culture as a whole that gave us a new appreciation for what we were seeing and experiencing! I would highly recommend taking this tour if you ever find yourself in Fes.
