  Simply put, Karl was fantastic. We came to Genoa knowing very little about the city and its history. By the end of our time together, we were quite enlightened and, shall we say, "gastro-pleased". Karl made the city come alive and took us into corners of it that we would have never known about nor seen, had we not joined up with him. With so much historical and architectural knowledge, Karl weaved a journey through the old city and its edible treats that made for a day that we will not forget. Karl is enlightened in so many ways and he passed along much to us. We are thankful to have encountered Karl!

  Our tour around the city with Karl was excellent. He is full of cultural and historical facts, knows the local people, and gives you so much in such a few hours. One of the best tours I have taken to date and my wife and I couldn't recommend this experience more. Worth every euro. Thanks Karl! Peace and Love.

• Incredible tour of Genova

  This was a fabulous walking tour with Karl who is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Genoa. We learned amazing architectural details, lots of history of the city and tales of the rich and famous of the era of wealth and palaces. He also took us to local haunts for delicious tastes of traditional foods. We loved this tour and hardly noticed the rainy day. We highly recommend this adventure with Karl.

  We had an unforgettable day with Karl Ziegler in Genoa. My husband and I have traveled quite a bit, but hands down, Karl is the best guide we’ve ever had. He made the experience so much fun with his energy, humor, and deep knowledge of the city’s rich history. We learned so much while laughing the entire time. The tour was perfectly balanced, with plenty of stops to enjoy delicious food and drinks, along with visits to museums and churches. It felt like we got more than our money’s worth! If we could, we’d book Karl to guide us through all of Italy. Highly recommend!

  This was the most informative tour I’ve taken in my 6 weeks here in Italy. The food was delicious & the history lesson was phenomenal. Highly recommend.
