Jvari Church
Jvari Monastery is a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. Along with other historic structures of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO
Mtskheta
Mtskheta is one of the oldest cities of Georgia, founded by the ancient Meschian tribes in the 5th century. Due to its historical significance and several cultural monuments, it is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It was the capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. However, Mtskheta continued to serve as the coronation and burial place for most kings of Georgia until the end of the kingdom in the 19th century. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (literally the Cathedral of the Living Pillar) is currently the second-largest church building in Georgia, after the Holy Trinity cathedral. Known as the burial site of Christ's mantle, Svetitskhoveli is one of the most venerated places of worship in the region. In addition, Svetitskhoveli was the site of the coronation of the Georgian kings and served as their burial place.
Chronicle of Georgia was created by Zurab Tsereteli, a famous Georgian sculptor, painter and architect who resides in Moscow. Although most of Tsereteli’s works are found in Russia and the country of Georgia, the West became familiar with his creations through the Tear of Grief sculpture, presented as an official gift to the United States from the Russian government to commemorate the victims of the September 11 attacks. Tear of Grief memorial now stands on the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor in New Jersey.
Surrounded by cliffs in the very center of Tbilisi waterfall Leghvtakhevi is one of the coolest places in the city loved by locals and travelers.

The Bridge of Peace
The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.
Liberty Square
Freedom Square, formerly known as Erivansky or Paskevich-Erivansky Square under Imperial Russia and Beria Square and Lenin Square while part of the Soviet Union, is located in the center of Tbilisi at the eastern end of Rustaveli Avenue.

Located on the Georgian Military Highway between the ski resort town of Gudauri and the Jvari Pass, the monument is a large round stone arch and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains. Gudauri is a ski resort located in the heart of the Caucasus Mountains. It belongs to Stepantsminda district (2,200 meters above sea level), with a skiing area enjoying maximum exposure to the sun. Gergeti Trinity Church
Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village. The church's location is the right bank of the Chkheri river under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level. Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century, and this is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet Era, soviets prohibited religious services, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. The church is an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. You will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley from the church. Due to the church’s isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature remains Georgia's most iconic tourist attraction. You will be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, which is 5047 meters above sea level.

An Unforgettable 8-Day Journey Through the Heart of Georgia 🇬🇪 Just returned from an absolutely magical 8-day trip across Georgia, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience! From the moment we landed, everything was perfectly arranged — from smooth airport transfers, hotel check-ins, and a local SIM card ready for use, to a skilled driver who took us through the breathtaking landscapes of this stunning country. We explored Georgia from north to west and everything in between — starting in the dramatic snow-capped peaks of Kazbegi, wandering through the lush green valleys and waterfalls of Borjomi, to the laid-back coastal charm of Batumi, and finally soaking in the history and vibrancy of Tbilisi. Each destination had its own unique charm, and the natural beauty of Georgia simply left us in awe. Think: misty mountains, cliffside views, serene waterfalls, and even the surreal sight of the Dead Sea-like mineral pools — this country is a nature lover’s paradise. Our accommodations in each region were excellent — comfortable, clean, and offering gorgeous views that made every morning feel like a postcard moment. Whether it was the tranquil mountain vistas or the coastal sunsets, the scenery never failed to amaze. The entire tour was extremely well-coordinated and professionally handled, which let us fully relax and enjoy the journey. Every detail was taken care of, and it truly made the trip seamless and stress-free. Special thanks to our tour guide and driver Tonrike. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to discover Georgia’s incredible mix of nature, culture, and warm hospitality. It was a trip to remember — and one I’d happily do all over again! 🌿🏔️🌊✨

We had a wonderful 7 day tour with Nugo which he tailored perfectly for us. We visited a number of places around Talevi, Kazbegi, Borjomi and Kutaisi. Nugo is extremely kind and friendly - we were able to experience fabulous Georgian food and wine, learn about Georgian culture and history, and see some show stopping sights. Our trip to Truro Valley in Kazbegi was a highlight and we are still thinking about the Khachapuri he treated us to in the way back to Tbilisi. We can’t recommend Nugo enough!!

Sharing my impression. In August 2022, my husband and I bedded sunny Georgia. I want to note the kind attitude of the locals, the tour was bought for 7 days, 6 nights. But all they regretted was being away so little. Seen a lot of sights. Very vividly remembered chic mountains, many cultural monuments and more. Georgia - a country to which you want to return more than once
