Gettysburg Heritage Center
A visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield is not complete without stopping at the Gettysburg Heritage Center Museum. The tour begins at either the Heritage Center or the National Park Visitor Center. If you’re not at either location yet, head over now. From there, we’ll follow the official Auto Tour route. Note: The tour is over 19 mile long per tour, with more than 60+ audio stories per tour, and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. New, Lifetime access, no expiry. As we continue driving, dawn breaks on the first day of battle. At McPherson's Ridge, Union and Confederate armies clash and generals on both sides order their regiments into place. We'll be able to imagine the movements of the battle as we look out over the ridge.

5.00This was a wonderful self-driving tour for Gettysburg. Getting everything set up on the phone was easy. The narration was fantastic. We really enjoyed the additional stories along the way. Directional signage for the tour route was excellent, too. It took us 4 hours to complete the tour. (We could have spent even more time but we had our dogs in the car and couldn't leave them alone for very long.) We highly recommend this driving tour!

5.00It was a great option traveling with our 3 boys. Was very reasonably priced and easy to use. We enjoyed that you could climb out of the car at a stop and just take your phone with you and click on the additional stories icon. Would use the app again on another vacation.

5.00Stuart was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent tour of the battlefield and the events leading up to the battle and throughout the three day battle as well as the aftermath. He used visual landmarks as well as some of his own making. It was a bit foggy and misty at times, but we were still able to visualize the events as though they were coming to life.

5.00My spouse and I visited The Gettysburg Battlefields for (2) days. We followed the advice of our great friend BT and watched the movie and visited the museum inside the visitor center upon our arrival. We purchased the downloadable audio tour in the gift shop and followed it’s instructions as we drove our Class B from stop to stop. It was incredible ! We learned so much and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We will return for sure !

5.00We booked this tour on a cold weekday spring morning on a stop during a longer road trip with our teenage kids. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. The audio app connected to our rental vehicle's CarPlay app and started narration as soon as we were near the appointed location. The narration included driving directions in real time so we really didn't have to pay a lot of attention to the map. We took our time moving from attraction to attraction along the guided route and let the kids decide where to linger. It was helpful to have one person drive and another person man phone app as there are lots of interesting optional side stories. It took us about 2.5 hours, but we didn't do every "sidequest". The narrator himself was engaging and gave a good idea of how the events of the battlefield unfurled over the landscape. Overall well worth the money paid.
