Get away from the crowds and join Exclusive Escapes, where we specialize in small-group experiences rooted in the culture and natural heritage of Grand Turk.
Board our vessel and cruise to Gibbs Cay, an uninhabited island known for its shallow turquoise waters and resident stingrays. Along the way, guests witness a meaningful cultural practice as the captain anchors and free dives for live conch using breath-hold technique only, without tanks or mechanical assistance—an expression of skill, tradition, and deep respect for the sea.
At Gibbs Cay, the captain conducts a cultural conch demonstration, carefully extracting the conch from its shell and sharing its significance in island life. Guests then enjoy a fresh conch delicacy tasting, along with water and a local rum punch tasting.
Guests also spend time in the shallow waters observing stingrays in their natural environment, moving freely along the sandy bottom, with an emphasis on presence and respect for wildlife.

Gibbs Cay
Join us as we cruise the crystal blue waters of Grand Turk for a 20-25 minute boat ride to Gibbs Cay. Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island with white powdery sand and offers you and your guests the deserted island feel you often dream of experiencing when vacationing. On the way to Gibbs Cay we stop to do a live conch dive. This is a unique experience to watch the captain as he dives for live conch. Upon arrival to Gibbs Cay, we are greeted by our resident sting rays. The water here is shallow — about 2 feet (6 meters) deep — and stingrays abound. Bob in the water with your knowledgeable guide to learn about the stingrays’ habitats, breeding patterns and life alongside humans. Gibbs Cay allows you and your guests to interact with natures professional gliders. Even small children and non-swimmers will feel safe throughout the experience. On Gibbs Cay the captain will do a conch demonstration and make you fresh conch salad (conch ceviche)

5.00Wonderful experience! The captain and crew were fantastic.Conch salad made fresh onboard. Would highly recommend and do again. Initially I was nervous we wouldn’t make it back in time to board our cruise (I had heard if you don’t book excursion thru cruise line, there’s no guarantee to be back in time) but we had ample time! Plenty of time to shop, sightsee, and eat. Lovely experience!!!

5.00I booked this shore excursion on my own through Tripadvisor, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We did a stingray encounter with snorkeling and fresh conch ceviche, and it was an unforgettable experience. Captain JJ and crewmate Kendrick were fantastic. They took incredible care of me, my best friend, and my two young boys, making sure everyone felt comfortable and had fun the entire time. One of the most special moments was when Captain JJ dove for conch shells and even found sand dollars for both of my boys. They also let my son pull the conch out of the shell himself, which was easily his favorite part of the day. We loved learning about the stingrays and getting the chance to interact with them up close. The stop at Gibbs Cay was absolutely beautiful and felt like a private paradise. This excursion felt personal, memorable, and perfect for families. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the area!

The captain and mate were so friendly and knowledgeable the whole experience was lovely we held stingrays and I felt completely safe the entire time I loved the whole experience the family that runs exclusive escapes is genuine and lovely I honestly adore Tiffany and would happily go back any day couldn’t recommend enough

5.00This was one of the highlights of our trip! From the start, the woman in the office was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed and even shared great local insight. The tour itself felt almost private. It was just our family of four and one other family, 7 people total. Captain JJ and Kendrick were fantastic, very patient with the kids, and made everyone feel comfortable. We snorkeled, swam with stingrays, and even watched them free dive for conch and make fresh ceviche right on the boat. Such a unique experience. Even with windy conditions, they took us to great spots and made it an unforgettable day. Highly recommend, especially for families looking for a more personal experience.

1.00I take Viator all the time and these people at this stingray Gibbs Bay refused to give me my money back when the Carnival Glory could not make it in to Grand Turk March 4th I have never have this kind of experience before it was $195 and they are refusing to give me my money back that is absolutely horrible business shame on you I will never take Viator again unless something is done about this just remember everybody if you don't make it in to Grand Turk these people at Gibbs Bay will not refund your $195 pitiful!!!!!!!!!!!

5.00We had an incredible experience with Exclusive Escapes in Grand Turk. We booked a private boat charter for our group of three couples, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our vacation. The crew was fantastic—funny, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. They created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still being incredibly professional. One of the most memorable parts of the day was visiting the stingrays. The crew was so knowledgeable—they even knew the stingrays by name—and it was clear how much care and respect they have for the animals. They handled them very gently, and I even got to pet one, which was such a special experience. I also really appreciated how thoughtful they were about our group. As a vegetarian, I was especially grateful that they were mindful and respectful about not doing the conch demonstration in front of me. That level of consideration really stood out. Everything felt seamless, personal, and genuinely well cared for from start to finish. Highly recommend booking with them if you're visiting Grand Turk!

5.00Everything about this was amazing- from the moment we signed in until taking us for jerk chicken afterwards. We had Gibbs Cay all to ourselves and got some stunning photos. The ceviche was mind-bogglingly good. The lesson on the parts of the conch and how it is broken down was great (as well as watching him free dive for 3 conchs at a time).
