The tour start by picking you from Nairobi Airport or your Nairobi Hotel. Proceed to the Giraffe Center, the headquarter for the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife made famous by "Daisy Rothschild", a giraffe calf rescued from Soi, on the Western Kenya border. Daisy and her family form only a small part of a herd of these gentle giants, living in a semi wild state at Giraffe Manor. You will also learn their behaviours, traits and more conservation education. These animals will come to a protecting wall to be fed. The next step is David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Tour Elephant Orphanage a walk through the little center from 11am - 12pm in an open space, with a rope fence around it. The youngest elephants come trotting out of the bush to greet their keepers who stand at the ready with giant bottles of milk. For the next 10-15 minutes you can watch each little one slurp and gargle their milk. When they're done, there's water to play with and keepers to nudge and get hugs from. While you get to watch them play and take photos. You find out how old they were when they arrived at the orphanage, where they were rescued from, and what got them into trouble. The most common reasons for getting orphaned being: mother's poached, falling into wells, and human/wildlife conflict. Once the youngest are all fed, they are led back into the bush, and it's the turn of the 2-3 year olds. Some of them can feed themselves, and some are still fed by their keepers. It's very cute to watch them hold their giant milk bottles in their trunks and close their eyes with joy as they make quick work of several gallons of milk. You will then be dropped off back to the Airport or your Nairobi Hotel

Stephen was our guide/driver. We ended up being the only couple. It was like a private tour to us. He was very punctual and came very early to pick up. Texted the night before and answered any questions I had. He was very patient and friendly. He was great and in taking pics. He knew exactly what he was doing. His choice of restaurant for lunch was excellent. Tried local food, great food. He even took us to a gift shop to buy souvenirs. Perfect day!

Great tour! A highlight of my time in Nairobi. The elephant orphanage, in particular, was excellent. We arrived everywhere plenty early, which meant we got great vantage points to see the animals. My guide, Wellington, was wonderful, and went above and beyond!

Stephen our guide was great. The tours allow you to get closer to animals then normally possible. Be prepared to want to sponsor the elephants and help keep the sanctuary open. Money well spent.

We are grateful for choosing this tour, it was great idea, we cannot regret. We had a wonderful day exploring the giraffe centre, elephant orphanage and women’s bead factory. Our guide, Stephan, was fantastic! He was full of knowledge and had good tips, he was also a great photographer and offered to take photos for us using our phones! Wonderful day and money well spent! Would recomment all.

What a great fun day out to remember. We were picked up with consistent communication from our driver guide Wellington throughout the day. Taken straight past the queue in to see the giraffes then on to the elephants with enough time for a shop and a coffee. Bead factory was very relaxing and interesting too. Well worth the money. Will come back again

This was very interesting tour. This is a great way to see the elephants and giraffes easily and comfortably. There’s a lot to see at Nairobi and we could have used more time. Great experience with Wellington
