Spend 12 hours exploring the magnificent southern coast of Iceland including a glacier hike with an experienced guide. Discover the Sólheimajökull Glacier as well as the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and the Reynisfjara black sand beach. Ensure comfort with a small group tour and transport provided by minibus.

Operates in most weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Warm clothing as first layer and waterproof as second layer are recommended

Hiking boots with hard sole and ankle support are recommended. It can be added as an extra when booking.

Please contact us regarding pick up. There are some hotels where buses are not allowed to drive. You can find information about designated pick up locations at busstop.is or ask the front desk of your hotel

Join this expedition to the South Coast with a hike on Sólheimajökull glacier. We make stops at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, its neighbor the majestic Skogafoss, then we head to the mighty waves of the Atlantic Ocean at Reynisfjara beach, also known as The Black Sand Beach. Did we mention we will also walk on top of Sólheimajökull glacier? Wait no more and hop on this minibus with the Troll to the south shore of Iceland.

An awesome adventure. The rain stopped for us to enjoy the black beach and George was a great guide for the glacier hike! We had all types of people on the hike and everyone had a successful excursion on the glacier.

Another great excursion here in Iceland. Our guide Maria’ was funny, knowledgable and of course Super Icelandic! Between stops she gave us plenty of facts & history of the region we were near and the country in general. Fun walking under the falls, climbing hundreds of steps to the top of another waterfall & the glacier hike was awesome. Be prepared for a 12 hr day but sooo worth it.

A brilliant, well organised and exciting day out. Jon (Ionut) was excellent and looked after us all day, a true gentleman (thank you)! Ethan was a great guide on the Glacier and looker after us really well (as well as being a lovely bloke).

Being physically active seniors in our seventies we were pushing the upper age range for the glacier hike. Our joyful guide Beth made the hike fun, safe, and interesting. John the other guide who drove us around the South Coast was very accommodating. The trip was an experience of a lifetime and we were grateful for having this opportunity.

We were in the wrong location for pick up but Þorkell (we think!!!) called and ensured we met him just around the corner. The van was very comfortable, he offered information as we drove through the south coast. We were spoiled with beautiful weather. we completed our glacier hike with Jerkoff who was exceptional - truly. I recommend this tour. We loved the Golden Circle but the South Coast became our favorite after this experience!

Overall, the experience was really very nice. Anna, the guide for the glacier excursion, was fantastic and very friendly. The bus driver was very skilled at driving and handling the road, although he sometimes seemed a bit less friendly in his interactions with people.

Amazing tour with a genuine Icelandic as our tour guide. Elias went above and beyond for everyone on the tour and had the patience of a saint with some challenging passengers! He ensured we saw all landmarks despite running behind schedule and we never felt rushed. The Glacier hiking was amazing! We were very lucky with the weather and Lorenzo was a brilliant hiking guide. Would highly recommend this tour

This was phenomenal! You hit multiple spots, but the glacier hike is the golden gem! Absolute beautiful adventure to get to see the ups and downs of the glacier. You see the bright blue colors and learn how it has formed and changed over time. You are given appropriate gear to be safe and secure while on us and our guide was phenomenal. Funny and able to make everyone laugh, but also, knowledgeable about the history and science of the glacier. It was beautiful to see Mother Nature and all her powers. Book this and you will NOT be disappointed!
Go see it before climate change.

I would highly recommend. Our driver was great at making sure we understood the itinerary for seeing the south coast and where was the best place to get food, drinks ect. Yhr cafe at black sand beach was very good. The waterfalls we great but my favourite place was black sand beach but I believe it's changed a bit since we were there. We went onto the glacier with Edgar. He was a brilliant guide. Very patient and friendly. He didn't make me feel stupid for being nervous on the ice, which I appreciate. The glacier is stunning and unforgettable. This whole experience was a highlight of my trip.
