Such a fantastic experience. I had an amazing time! It was incredibly fun and unique to create my own Murano glass pieces. I made a couple of beautiful beads and bonbons!

This was such a wonderful and eye-opening experience! I'm NOT an artistic person, but I appreciate what artists can do. So, not knowing what to expect, I showed up for a one-on-one glassblowing explanation and then got to try my hand at it. He was so informational, using excellent English while explaining the science behind glassblowing. I felt safe, and had so much fun! The beads and candy are sitting on my dresser now. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, of any ability, who is interested in this fascinating art.

This excellent hands-on glassmaking instruction was a highlight of my Venice trip. Dario was a patient teacher for this one-on-one introduction on a professional workbench where you'll walk away with a few small pieces you create yourself. Learn something new. Do it!

Bought this experience for my 21 year old son and a friend who are doing a semester abroad, and are visiting Venice this weekend. They wanted a hands on, immersive experience and they absolutely loved it. He said they made beads and a piece that resembled a candy wrapper. Alessandro then created a dragon in only 15 minutes. The skill, speed and artistry blew their minds. They loved the intimacy of the workshop and having a memento to bring home that they made. Highly recommend!!

Did the class with Dario, it was a blast and honestly so much fun that I want to go back and do it again. He was able to explain everything clearly and was super helpful and focused on safety. Seriously this was 100% worth it!

Best thing we did in Italy! Ever! Alessandro is an incredible artist and a patient teacher. We had a fantastic time learning his process and then trying ourselves. Of course, what he makes is very technically complicated requiring years of study and practice. But even our simple project was challenging and has given us a greater appreciation for the art form. We left with our projects and his demonstration pieces. We’ll treasure them all! Book this experience! You won’t regret it!

Truly the best thing we did in Italy. Alessandro and his coworker were both incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and we learned so much about glass blowing. After a demonstration where Alessandro made us a vase, we both got the chance to make a couple of glass items of our own. I would recommend this activity to anyone and would love to do it again when I’m next back in Murano.

Alessandro and Dario are warm and gracious hosts showing their talents in making beautiful items with Murano Glass. This wasn’t just a tour or a Lesson, but a hands on experience where you get to make a memento under their guidance and support. I will always remember this experience and have a whole new appreciation beautiful glass designs!!
