• Tiny island, not much to see.

  I think we just purchased the wrong snorkel package. We follow the directions to be on the first tender off the ship and sat at their dock in the sun for over an hour waiting for a boat to pick us up. This was really frustrating because there were only eight total people in our tour and they were all there on time. Two large groups of snorkelers with different colored wristbands, and several other tours left before us. When our boat finally arrived we took a 30 minute motor boat ride out to a tiny little Island. When we finally got to the island we we're told we had less than 2 hours before we would have to leave. I had to ask if there was snorkel equipment or drinking water, which was in a plastic pouch, hard to open and tasted like plastic. They had a bathroom, but no running water even to wash hands, but what can you expect from a little uninhabited islands? If you like the idea of going to a tiny island in the middle of nowhere to just sit in the sand or look for big conch shells, then this would be a good tour for you. They have three dogs that live on the island that are very friendly, but you have to watch your step for poop. It might be a good place for kids who have never snorkeled before, but I personally didn't think there was much to see. The water is beautiful and picturesque and on one side there was an area to swim. They had grilled fish or chicken for purchase, but did not take credit cards. We were only allowed to snorkel on the sandy turquoise areas, not by the reefs where the fish were. Another company had a snorkel group that swam to the island from their boat and they swam all over in the reefs and saw cool things, I heard even a manatee! That company, Eco tours, appear to be cooking food for their own group and also allowed people to buy food that was for sale on the island with a credit card and pay back at their dock.

  The directions were very clear to be off the ship ASAP. We arrived at the meeting point by 9:00 am. A group of 10 0f us and 6 others. We waited for 1 1/2 hour for 2 others. We all told the woman in charge that we were going to leave and she finally got us in the boat for the trip over. FYI, the staff on the boat and island were exceptional.

  We had an absolutely amazing experience with Splash Wave Tours during our visit to Goff’s Caye in Belize! From start to finish, everything was seamless, professional, and incredibly enjoyable. The team was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. They were very organized and knowledgeable about the area, and you could tell they genuinely care about giving guests a great experience. The boat ride was smooth, and the views along the way were stunning. Once we arrived at Goff’s Caye, it was like stepping into paradise, crystal clear water, soft white sand, and a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. Splash Wave Tours made the experience even better by handling all the details so we could just relax and enjoy the day. Whether it was snorkeling, exploring the island, or just soaking up the sun, everything was perfect. If you’re planning a trip to Belize, I highly recommend booking with Splash Wave Tours.   Great excursion. Be sure to bring cash as the island has great food and drink options available, but they don't take other forms of payment. Cash is king here. LOL We loved this excursion and would do it again when in Belize. Captain Mark, Safara, and Jamal were great hosts/guides.

  Bring cash and get the lobster don't forget your towel and sun screen the snorkeling was wonderful. The crew was great

• Cancelled with no prior notice and an excursion day ruined.

  We purchased tickets through Viator for this excursion and after arriving at the meeting place the excursion was cancelled hours after arriving. The reasoning was that not enough people from the "cruise ship showed up". Customers are obligated to pay if not cancelled without a 24 hour notice so they did get tneir money. The company, Splash Wave Tours, has a lengthy history of cancelling excursions at the last minute by using that same excuse time after time. Sadly both Tripadvisor and Viator still allows this company to advertise on its websites. I was contacted by Viator to leave a review of our experience on it's website but the review option was suspiciously removed. It appears it was removed because I recieved a refund.

  Unfortunately it's was not advised that would not be Goffs caye! Still 2 Stars, because the trip the took me instead Was good. But my Intention was to Goffs caye!!!

• Beware!!

  Our original excursion to Goffs Caye was cancelled once we got to the excursion because there was only two people. We were never contacted however they offered a different excursion which we accepted however that too was cancelled because only 4 people showed up (including us) so that also was cancelled. Four hours of waiting for NOTHING.

• Cruise excursion day trip

  We booked this for a cruise excursion. We rushed off the boat and had to wait around for awhile. This company seems to organize many different tours/ excursions. We enjoyed Geoff’s Cay. We took a boat ride to the island (about 25 minutes) and got to hang out there for several hours. There’s a little restaurant on the island, the lobster is delicious and still am thinking about it. You have to pay for beach chairs and need to bring your own towel. The staff took us snorkeling in the ocean which was fun even with the water a little choppy. The island also had island dogs which were friendly. We enjoyed playing fetch with a coconut. It’s a nice day trip and I had a lot of fun. The staff made sure to have us back in time for the tender back to the ship. I would recommend.

  No lunch, no rum punch. Didn’t go to the island that was represented. But did go to a nice laid-back island Caye Caulty.. Jamal m, the host was good, a good day but wud not return.
