  The trip itself was very good. The island was marvelous. The logistics regarding meeting point in the morning and the meeting time was not clear in the original reservation. So it is recommended to reach and ask for clarification. It is good to keep in mind that if you travel with small children , be mindful that would have to wait probably like an hour and half before the boats departs to the island. I love the trip but wish it was more clear about the wait and where to meet. The crew was exceptional. Really helpful. I recommend to the travelers to be open to order food at the island like grill fish and lobster. Also keep in mind Belize in its entirety its a protected country. Dont take anything from the corrals with you also don’t destroy anything. Besides that enjoy your trip and bring plenty od water and layers for protection from the sun.

  They canceled our trip and did not tell us until we were at the pickup point. I would not recommend booking in advance or using this guide company.

  Goffs Caye was great! However.... The communication from the tour fascillitator was non existent! That was very frustrating for us and all the other folks that waited there at the pier for an hour before anything started happening. The boat crew seemed to be individuals that the tour fascillitator hires. They were fantastic and very helpful once we go to that point where they took over. I would reccommend Goff's Caye, but not with this tour fascillitator (Splash Wave Tours) . Find a different tour group.

  Our excursion started off slow as we waited about 1-1/2 hours at the dock to travel to Goff's Caye. The Details said that we should arrive as early as possibe...so we followed instructions. Once we finally left for the island, the rest of the day was great. As we approached the island after about a 25 minute boat ride, we realized that this was a unique experience. We loved the three dogs running around the island toting coconuts while having a great time playing in the surf and and sand. We especially enjoyed snorkeling with Jamaal who was a great guide. He explained everything very clearly and then took the time to show everyone how to properly use their equipment. He even took care to tow several of the weaker swimmers who were not adept using the fins, masks, and snorkels. We were all grateful to have his help. In addition, he was very knowledgeable about Belize and answered all of our questions. The water was pretty choppy on the way back, but the boat driver (Mark...I think) did his best to minimize the boat bouncing up and down. Our entire party of 10 had a great day and would highly recommend this adventure.

  Unfortunately, the tour operator informed us that the tour was not occurring because some people cancelled last minute. This was extremely inconvenient. They informed us when we were already at the terminal for pickup. There was terrible communication, only got a response the day before after reaching out on WhatsApp but they didn’t respond through TripAdvisor. We were told we’d receive a refund for the tickets but no refund on the taxi that had to be called to drop us off. I want to reiterate we were told about the tour being cancelled at the exact time we arrived so it was upsetting to be informed at the very last minute. It would’ve been helpful if we were told beforehand before paying for the taxi. It felt like a waste of our time and money. Very upsetting!!!

  We had just arrived and the lady calls us to cancel last minute. Literally terrible company, terrible communication. Very annoying experience.

  Such an awesome experience going to a private like island snorkeling , beaching and even eating lunch of Freshly caught seafood and drinks . The attendants were also so helpful and knew so much about the island . Highly recommended this excursion

  This was the epitome of paradise. The private island, beautiful beaches and coral reef, delicious food and nice staff made this my favorite excursion. Highly recommend. Limited people made it most enjoyable.

• Private island snorkeling is wonderful

  We went to this very small private island. Most went off to do the snorkeling. I brought my own gear and snorkel around the beach. Water was wonderfully clear. We loved it. We bought lobster, chicken and ribs from the BBQ pit. All is well. This is a must do activity.

  Unfortunately we didn’t get to Goff!s Caye because they need a minimum amount of people.We ended up going to Caye Caulker & snorkelled. Captain Mark, his son Junior, Jose & the female snorkelling guide were awesome. It was definitely the experience of a lifetime. We saw do many different fish & different types of coral, nurse sharks, sting rays. Absolutely fabulous! I wasn’t going to get off the boat but I did & happy I did. It was mind blowing. I was very nervous, I can swim but have never snorkelled & Jose stayed with me the whole time & I can’t believe how incredible it was. I would definitely do it again.
