The Marble Mountains
It's also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth. The caves within the mountains hold many secrets including bullet holes from when troops used to spy on the US soldiers relaxing on My Khe Beach below and buildings standing within the caves and grottoes. There are also Buddhist sanctuaries and places of worship dotted across the mountains which are a much-visited spiritual site. You can even see a special circular cave here. It leads to the summit, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views.
Son Tra Mountain
Located on the Son Tra Peninsula, Monkey Mountain is one of Da Nang’s most scenic and culturally rich destinations. Just a short drive from the city, it offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking coastal views, winding mountain roads, and a chance to connect with nature. One of the main highlights is the towering Lady Buddha statue at Linh Ung Pagoda, standing 67 meters tall and facing the East Sea. From here, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Da Nang City, the sea, and the lush green hills. As the name suggests, Monkey Mountain is home to many wild monkeys, including the rare red-shanked douc langur. They are often seen along the roadside or near forested paths, making it a fun and surprising experience for nature lovers.

5.00Sam was waiting in our hotel lobby. His English is superb so made the trip easier and it was so interesting listening to his stories. We talked through our itinerary for the day and Sam suggested we do the Golden Bridge first to avoid the crowds. He knew he was round to get us quick access to queues and we opted to pay extra for the VIP passes, which minimised any queuing at all as we first in line to go on the cable car. Definitely worth it! He waited for us whilst we visited the Golden Bridge and then took us to our next destinations. We drove carefully and was really kind as I wasn’t feeling very well. Definitely worth paying for this private service to visit these amazing sites. Would highly recommend. 10 out of 10 service.

5.00Great sights definitely worth seeing, but it was our driver (who acted as a guide, without having to), Dũng, who made this trip really memorable! I recommend this trip no matter what - but if possible ask to get Dũng as your driver :) Thanks!

5.00The sights were really great and our guide Dũng made this trip really memorable! The tour we booked was NOT including guide but only a driver. Nevertheless, Dũng told stories about the sights we visited and about the history of Vietnam - it was super exciting to hear about and he knew so much about the all the places we visited. 5.00Tom was great! He was friendly, upbeat, gave his full attention, and was very attentive. He went out of his way to be very accommodating and would even pull over every time I wanted a picture. I would highly recommend him again!

5.00I had the pleasure of having Samuel-Hoang Vu as my private driver. He was very professional, super friendly, and accommodating to what I wanted to see. He took me to the Golden Bridge, Marble Mountain, and SonTra Monkey Mountain. We also had great conversation about the Vietnamese culture and he provided me with useful information for other parts of my trip. I highly recommend him for whatever you may need!

5.00My wife and I did a 1 day private tour from Hoi An visiting Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain and Ba Na hills. Our driver adopted the English name of Happy. He arrived in a new, spotless air conditioned SUV, and his enthusiasm and good nature was infectious. Nothing was too much trouble for him, from adjusting our schedule as we preferred to giving advice on what to see. He was very communicative and kept in touch via Whatsap. All in all a 5 star experience. If you ask for Happy or are lucky enough to have him as your driver, you won't be disappointed.

5.00We throughly enjoyed our transfer from Hue to Hoi An. Mr. Thien was a wonderful driver and let us take the time we wanted at each stop! If wanting to stop to buy snacks or souvenirs just let him know! He took good care of us!
