Laugarvatn
Laugarvatn sits next to a beautiful lake of the same name in a geothermally active area. The plumes of super-heated vapor billowing into the air in this area are used by the locals to bake rye bread in the ground!

5.00Our guide (Philip) was great, very helpful and informative and also had a very good music playlist perfectly suited to all the different stops. Amount of time at each stop was very good as well, even with some extra bonus stops thrown in!

5.00Great experience! The tour of the Golden Circle was really very interesting and well beyond expectations. The organization was impeccable, all attention to detail. The driver was exceptional: very professional, kind and always available to explain and give information about the places visited, making the tour even more engaging and enjoyable. Great attention also to safety: they provided crampons allowing us to visit every place in total tranquility and safety. An extraordinary experience, well organized and absolutely recommended.

5.00David was a great guide, with something funny and interesting to say about every place we went through. He always found the best spot to drop us and the easier way to pick us up in each place we visited. As for the tour, the time in each location was enough to get great pictures and have a good overview of the place, I would highly recommend it as you get to know several amazing spots in a day trip.

5.00Absolutely fantastic day with knowledgable Monica and she even pushed extra excursion to tomato farm in as a treat! I couldn’t fault anything, maybe the weather (heavy snowing and ice on roads), but nothing stopped up from the experience!!!
