Thingvellir National Park
Head to Thingvellir National Park, where you learn about how it lies within a volcanically active area. It's also home to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Straddle two continents while you walk between the plates.
Laugarvatn
Laugarvatn sits next to a beautiful lake of the same name in a geothermally active area. The plumes of super-heated vapor billowing into the air in this area are used by the locals to bake rye bread in the ground!

5.00A well organised and really enjoyable tour with an excellent guide (Christina) who looked after and entertained us very well. So glad spikes were provided for us to borrow for our boots as this made navigating the icy paths much easier. Highly recommended.

5.00Fantastic Tour. Our tour guide/driver Walter did an awesome job in showing us around Iceland, no dull moment during the tour. Towards the evening, the weather started to get rough with heavy winds and icy conditions but kudos to Walter for driving so well. thank you keeping us safe the whole time.

5.00Fantastic trip with Walter. Top guide. The weather was horrendous but he made it so enjoyable. He was very friendly and informative. We had just enough time at each stop. Came in to Sky Lagoon to make sure everything ran smoothly. Great trip. Thanks Walter. United forever.

5.00It was our first excursion in Iceland, and we really enjoyed both our guide and driver! She picked us up right on time at Bus Stop 6, just two minutes from our hotel very easy to find. She shared lots of fun little anecdotes throughout the day, which made the experience both interesting and entertaining. The weather was quite unpredictable, but she adapted the itinerary so we could see everything. The sites were absolutely stunning, and the bread break was a delicious little treat we truly appreciated! Just as she promised at the beginning of the tour : it was truly exhilarating.

5.00The weather was wild but the tour guide was great and got us through it. The order of stopped was modified on the fly and it resulted in us actually getting to see all the stops and not be stuck in a white out at gullfoss. The driver shared some local insights with as throughout the trip and gave us an Amazing experience.
So much to do and see!

5.00This tour was fantastic! We got to see the highlights and a couple of bonus stops. Monica our guide was so friendly and knew a lot of history to share. I would highly recommend this tour if you have a day to explore outside of the city.

5.00We have just returned from an amazing few days in Iceland, and this trip was on our last day. What a way to end it. Firstly, I assumed this was a large group on a coach, but it was a pleasant surprise to find it was a small group tour. Our driver and guide Anastasia was fantastic and informative, I loved hearing the stories and facts as we drove around on this tour, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. We had plenty of time at all the stops, and saw everything we set out to see. She provided us all with crampons which was a bonus and a lifesaver at a few of the places we visited. We finished the trip with a visit to the blue lagoon, and I could have spent all evening here. I found the surrounding area fascinating, with Anastasia's commentary about the lava fields and local seismic activity. Thank you for a fascinating, action packed day!

5.00We did this tour the first week in February and our guide Pavel I believe was excellent. We had plenty of time to see the sights and he was entertaining, enthusiastic and not a dull moment. We chose the hvammsvik hot springs and it was a great way to end the day. Highly recommended anything by Nice Travel.
