This day tour with English-speaking local guide in a small group of a maximum of 19 participants (usually a maximum of 8 participants) is the ideal shore excursion for passengers of the cruise ships and leads from Reykjavik on the so-called Golden Circle to well-known sights.
You will experience the earthquake crevasse in a shopping center in Hveragerði, the Kerið volcanic crater, the impressive Gullfoss waterfall. Hot springs and Strokkur Geyser await you in Haukadalur.
Tasty Icelandic ice cream can be experienced at Efsti Salur Farm
On the shores of the warm lake Laugarvatn there are hot springs used by the locals for baking bread.
You can experience plate tectonics in Þingvellir National Park. On the way back, we will make a short detour through downtown Reykjavik.
The departure time and tour duration is suitable for the cruise ships in the port of Reykjavik. For example, if the ship arrives an hour late, the bus will wait.

After driving across the Hellisheiðir plateau, we reach the small town of Hveragerði, where there are numerous geothermally heated greenhouses. There we make a short stop at a shopping center where we visit an earthquake fissure.
Kerid Crater
The next stop on the tour is at the 6,500 year old Kerið crater, the northernmost of the Tjarnarhólar crater series. The crater has a depth of 55 meters and a diameter of 270x170 meters. The water depth varies between 7-14 meters.

5.00Amazing amazing amazing! Staynun (sorry if I’ve misspelt it) was knowledgeable and kept the coach journey interesting, Anna was a super driver and got us to all our destinations safely. I didn’t know quite what to expect when I booked this trip and I was not disappointed. Luxury coach with comfortable seating, stunning scenery and plenty of time in each location so that it didn’t feel rushed, would definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing day 😍

5.00Highly recommended. Our guide Paul was flexible about our wishes. The whole process was smooth and super punctual. He told us a lot about country and people and even gave us insights into srin's private life. We learned a lot of new things but also laughed a lot. I would book the tour again at any time

5.00Excellent tour in the Golden Circle with breathtaking scenery (Lerid volcano, Gullfoss waterfall, Haukadalur geothermal zone, Pingwellir National Park...) Driver guide very pro We were the only French on a German bus and our driver adapted to speak to us also in English. The minicar is very comfortable. In short I recommend 100% this tour operator

5.00We were in a van with only eight of us. Our driver was also the guide and took us to the usual places of interest along the Golden Circle. It was a long tour, actually even longer than the eight hours listed in the online description. The weather was not very cooperative as it was very windy with clouds and even some rain at various times during the day. That was the only downside to the tour. No doubt it would have been much more enjoyable under better weather conditions.
