All of our tour guides are Bay Area Natives, which will help you understand what it’s like to grow up in SF and now live here as grown ups with our own families. You will enjoy an introduction to San Francisco on this 5 to 6 hour tour that includes Neighborhoods like Chinatown, North Beach, Pacific Heights and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument. You'll be driven around the city to see its diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping several times for photo ops. At Muir Woods, admire the towering redwood trees, and visit the waterfront town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Works great for people coming from cruise ships. You cannot book the Alcatraz option under 4 days in advance.

In order to visit Alcatraz, you must choose the Alcatraz Option. If you do not select the Alcatraz option, we will not be able to provide admission for you to Alcatraz.

Our ticket availability for Alcatraz visits is limited, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide any extra accommodations. If the Alcatraz option is not available, it means that all tickets have been sold out.

Day Tour + Alcatraz Admission

Official Alactraz Tour : After the "SF-Woods-Sausalito" part of the tour, you will be dropped off at Alcatraz Landing where you will catch the ferry. Duration: 3 hours: The Alcatraz Audio tour is around 90 minutes, you have an option to stay longer or take the ferry back. Alcatraz Ferry: You will take a ferry to and from Alcatraz Island. This was a great tour. Sully was an awesome, informative guide. We were able to see some local sights while getting some SF city history. The bus was clean and very comfortable. The trip out to Muir Woods came with it's own history and information and even some music. We had a nice in Sausalito and, again, had some history and music at this so, as well. Highly recommend.

Our wonderful guide, Sully, filled tour of the San Francisco neighborhoods with history and interesting facts. He was so knowledgeable, articulate and passionate about his city! The hike through Muir Woods was amazing and lunch in Sausalito delicious. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you can request Sully!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! It was the highlight of our San Francisco trip. We did this on our first full day in town and it was a wonderful introduction to the city and helped us prioritize our time while we were there. Our guide, Sully clearly loved San Francisco and helped us to fall in love with it as well. This was worth every penny! I highly recommend including Alcatraz, that was extremely well done.

I had a great experience overall, mainly thanks to Pet. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and kind throughout the tour. He took me to amazing places and gave great recommendations for restaurants and other things to do in San Francisco and the surrounding area. The organization could have been better, though. It would have helped to clearly indicate the tour operator’s name, as I had to ask around to find the right group. A confirmation message the day before the tour would also have been appreciated. In addition, I never received the QR code for the cruise, so I had to explain the situation at the ticket office. Despite these issues, Pet made the tour very enjoyable and memorable.
