All of our tour guides are Bay Area Natives, which will help you understand what it’s like to grow up in SF and now live here as grown ups with our own families. You will enjoy an introduction to San Francisco on this 5 to 6 hour tour that includes Neighborhoods like Chinatown, North Beach, Pacific Heights and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument. You'll be driven around the city to see its diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping several times for photo ops. At Muir Woods, admire the towering redwood trees, and visit the waterfront town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Works great for people coming from cruise ships. You cannot book the Alcatraz option under 4 days in advance.

In order to visit Alcatraz, you must choose the Alcatraz Option. If you do not select the Alcatraz option, we will not be able to provide admission for you to Alcatraz.

Our ticket availability for Alcatraz visits is limited, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide any extra accommodations. If the Alcatraz option is not available, it means that all tickets have been sold out.

Day Tour + Alcatraz Admission

Official Alactraz Tour : After the "SF-Woods-Sausalito" part of the tour, you will be dropped off at Alcatraz Landing where you will catch the ferry.
Duration: 3 hours: The Alcatraz Audio tour is around 90 minutes, you have an option to stay longer or take the ferry back.
Alcatraz Ferry: You will take a ferry to and from Alcatraz Island.

Patrick was great. Funny. Knowledgeable and respectful. Wish we had more time at Muir and a less rushed lunch in Sausalito. Alcatraz was intense. Love everything. Will recommend 100%.

This tour, including Per, was absolutely amazing!! We had a great time seeing all of the sights and learning local history from Per. He was engaging, the time flew by, and we had plenty of time at stops to thoroughly see everything and enjoy ourselves. Great value for what we paid, I would highly recommend this tour and Per as an awesome tour guide!!

The information about San Francisco was exceptional! The trip was not only what we were seeing but what to do while in San Francisco. Take notes. Brendan is quick witted. Snacks, drinks, and stops for pictures,and bathroom breaks are the thoughtful entities he has incorporated. BAR NUN the trip to see Muir Forest and the other wonders of the area.
