Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. Please dress appropriately for all weather conditions.
Horizontal Falls is a tidal phenomenon. Flight route may be reversed to suit tidal activity at the falls. Please ask when booking about its activity on the date of travel.
All bookings require a minimum of 4 passengers to be confirmed. Passengers not meeting the minimum will be waitlisted until numbers are met
A fee of 20% of the tour cost applies when cancelling 8-14days prior to tour departure date and a fee of 50% of the tour cost applies to any cancellation 1-7 days prior to departure date. No refund will apply to passengers cancelling later than 4pm the day prior to the tour departure. Cancellation of seats and refund on compassionate grounds will be at the discretion of Broome Aviation. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Credit cards may attract a surcharge of between 1-5%. Passengers deemed intoxicated will be refused entry onto the aircraft and no refund provided.

Windjana Gorge
Depart Broome and fly over Chinatown, Roebuck Bay and Malcolm Douglas Crocodile farm before heading towards the open landscape of the Kimberley. Fly over the King Leopold Ranges which extend for 300km from Walcott Inlet in the west to approx. 100km from Halls Creek in the east. The ranges consist of long, rugged, spinifex-covered ridges and escarpments. Mount Ord at 947m above sea level and Mount Broome at 935m are the highest peaks in the range. Land at Windjana Gorge Airstrip and take a short drive to the Gorge, where you will see a myriad of natural wildlife including the ever present stares of Windjana’s most revered occupant, Johnston’s Freshwater Crocodile. The walls of Windjana Gorge rise abruptly from the wide alluvial floodplain of the Lennard River, reaching approx.. 100m high in some places. The 3.5km long gorge cuts through the limestone of the Napier Range, part of an ancient barrier reef which can also be seen at Geikie Gorge and Tunnel Creek National Parks.
Bell Gorge
Depart Windjana Gorge for a short flight over the King Leopold Range to the remote Silent Grove Airstrip for another quick drive through the Kimberley outback dotted with many native boab trees, to Bell Gorge. Once at Bell Gorge carpark a short 1km walk will have you arrive at the top of the spectacular waterfall. This walk requires a medium level of fitness but is well worth it to arrive at the top of the waterfall, with a chance to swim, relax and enjoy the many amazing photo opportunities. For the daring, a further 1km walk will allow you to swim in the freshwater pool at the bottom of the waterfall. Once you are feeling relaxed and refreshed from your swim at Bell Gorge, you then take off for another flight over the King Leopold Ranges into Mt Hart Station.

5.00What an amazing day! Our lovely guide Kaden’s infectious enthusiasm for flying and for the stunning places he was showing us, enhanced our experience. This is a well thought out tour - the spots visited deserve the “gorgeous” label, the meals are generous and delicious and the tour is well paced and organised - I would have loved more time at Bell gorge but unfortunately there are only so many hours of daylight!

3.00The trip itself was incredible. A once in a lifetime and Caleb our pilot was awesome. For someone so young to connect with both the younger generation in my children and the older such as myself and other passengers was a credit to him. He made the trip fun as well as being highly informative. That said I was disappointed with the ‘mode of transport’ through to Bells Gorge being we had paid so much money for this experience. Vehicle gaffer taped at the back no air conditioning ready for the trash heap! Also no adequate way to keep water/items cold in over 35 degree heat and the food for some $1350 a person needs addressing

5.00The flight over horizontal falls and after visiting cygnet bay and viewing whales off the coast on the journey back to Broome. Harrison was a fantastic pilot and provided a wealth of knowledge of the region and was very accommodating.

5.00Originally we wanted to go on the Bungle Bungles tour but we are so glad we didn’t as this tour was jam packed and spectacular! We saw so much in the course of an 11 hour day. The day started at 6:20am when Daisy picked us up from our accommodation and took us to the place where we met Craig our pilot. After the mandatory safety briefing we were pretty quickly on the plane and ready to take off! As a small group (only another couple and the pilot) we crammed into the plane and travelled 1.5 hours north to Windjama Gorge. Unfortunately we couldn’t stop there as the airfield wasn’t suitable so we did a number of fly overs to ensure we all got a good view. We then landed at Silent Grove and transferred to a van and after a short drive and a 20 minute walk we arrived at Bell Gorge. We spent a few hours there, swimming above and below the falls. Swimming in the pool below the falls was just magical. The lovely snack box prepared by Daisy for us tided us over until lunch! Lunch was at Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge, a short 10 minute flight from Silent Grove. The lunch was delicious and the lodge looked like a lovely place to stay for travellers on the Gibb River Road. Next stop was Cygnet Bay, but before we arrived there we flew over the Horizontal Falls (a few times) and the absolutely stunning Bucaneer’s Archipelago before we landed at Cygnet Bay airstrip. After the transfer to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm where we were treated to coffee and cake, we returned to the plane to complete the final flight back to Broome over the coastline and chasing the sunset. Craig was a perfect host; answering our myriad of questions, carrying our snack boxes into Bell Gorge and very knowledge about the area, pointing out significant landmarks and sharing the history of the Kimberley’s. And of course, delivering us back to Broome safely! I would like to thank Daisy, Craig and Broome Aviation for a great day out!

5.00This was the most amazing experience. We were collected at 6.30am and the next 12 hours proved to be one of the most memorable days ever! Michael was knowledgeable and reassuring. The first airstrip landing at Windjana Gorge with kangaroos hopping off the strip set the scene for the day - 4 airstrips, cars ready to go and the best way to experience the Kimberley. Highly recommend this trip as a way to experience everything the Kimberley has to offer. Unforgettable
