The Haute Provence offers impressive Canyons, the Gorges du Verdon, dug by the river of the same name. You will discover the huge lake of Sainte Croix and stop in magical places in the heart of nature.
You will enjoy the Grand Canyon of France, along with a visit to the 16th century village Castellane (gateway to the Gorges of the Verdon, nestled at the foot of its famous Roc) and pottery-centric village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (the Capital of Fayence) and famous lavender fields (June-July).

5.00It was a rainy day and our host, Mario, did an excellent job of making us all feel comfortable and ensured we enjoyed the day. Plus he sent along a bunch of photos and videos after. Plus the sites we saw were totally worth seeing. Highly recommend.

5.00Great day trip from Nice with our guide Dennis in early April. Driving along the Verdon river is reminded us of Yosemite National Park in California except the mountains are of limestone instead of granite. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is quite idyllic with waterfalls and mountains behind a medieval village. Paddling in Lake Saint Croix was such a pleasant experience as well.

5.00Mario was an excellent driver and guide! His enthusiasm and hospitality made the day that much better. The tour involves much driving but the scenery and stops are stunning along the way. The van was very comfortable and he ensured we made stops as needed. I highly recommend this tour! We saw beautiful waterfalls and had a wonderful lunch with 2 stops in quaint French towns. Paddle boating on the river will be a favorite memory my family has forever! The water is unbelievably blue and very refreshing in April. Thank you again for a great day Mario!

1.00Although the operator emailed and confirmed the time and place, we were never picked up and they told viator that they were waiting for us for 20 minutes which was a lie since we were waiting for them 10 minutes before the assigned time. The operator was unavailable by phone and viator themselves were not helpful. Not only should I have my money refunded but I should receive an equal credit for future use. We were leaving so the day trip could not be rescheduled. Beware of even confirmed reservations!
