  Simply wow - from the pick up until drop off. We did not lose one single minute in transportation, bus was on time, boat and the mini van as well. Seif, our quad instructor, was amazing - safety first - which was a top priority for us as a family with children. I highly recommend and will definitelt visit again.

  We booked a quad bike tour through Viator with Yippee Malta for our group of 6 during a long weekend trip. The experience had both positive and negative aspects that future customers should be aware of. **The Positives:** - The company was accommodating when we needed to reschedule from 30th November to 1st December, responding without charging extra fees - The initial briefing on quad bike operation was thorough and professional - The tour route itself was excellent, taking us around Gozo with stops at beautiful cliffs with historical explanations and a local village shop showcasing Maltese products - The ferry rides between Malta and Gozo were a highlight - particularly the sunset crossing on the way back, which was absolutely beautiful **Areas of Concern:** *Logistics:* There was confusion about the pickup point. Despite providing our hotel name (Courtyard by Marriott, Sliema), we were directed to a different Marriott location. This required us to arrange our own taxi at 8am, adding unexpected stress and expense. *Safety Issue:* During the tour, one of our quad bikes suffered a puncture in the front wheel that caused the bike to hit a wall. Our friend, who was driving, injured his wrist trying to control the vehicle. He was taken to Gozo General Hospital where X-rays revealed multiple fractures requiring surgery. Upon inspection after the incident, we noticed our quad bike also had what appeared to be a slow puncture on the rear wheel, which fortunately did not lead to an accident. Additionally, another buggy in our group had a non-functioning handbrake. These pre-existing issues should have been identified during pre-tour safety checks. The company did initially mention potential charges for the damage, though given the puncture was a pre-existing equipment fault, this was concerning. *Emergency Preparedness:* While the party leader contacted someone more senior and emergency services responded quickly, the on-site staff did not appear to have first aid training or emergency equipment. Given the scale of their operation (we could see numerous quad bikes at their Gozo facility), basic first aid certification and equipment should be standard. What if a quad bike had toppled causing more serious injuries? This is a concern that needs addressing. *Aftermath:* Our injured friend needed a fit-to-fly certificate for our flight the next morning. This became an all-night ordeal visiting multiple facilities: first the polyclinic at Gzira (2-hour wait), then Floriana Health Centre (where we discovered they couldn't provide the certificate), and finally St James Hospital in Sliema where we obtained it for €45. He was placed in a cast and is now awaiting surgery at a Scottish Royal Infirmary. **Suggestions for Improvement:** - More rigorous pre-tour equipment safety checks - First aid training and equipment for all tour leaders - Consider adding Comino as a tour stop option - Clearer communication about pickup locations **Final Thoughts:** The tour concept, Gozo scenery, and ferry experience are genuinely excellent. However, the equipment safety issues are concerning and need immediate attention. The accident was preventable and resulted from inadequate equipment maintenance. Would I recommend? With reservations - the tour itself has great potential, but preventative safety standards need strengthening to avoid such incidents in the first place.

• Exciting Quad Adventure Across Gozo

  We had an amazing time riding a quad bike around Gozo. It was a fun and exciting way to discover the island, and we got to see places I probably wouldn’t have reached otherwise.   Christian was such an amazing tour guide. So were the 2 older men that drove us to the garage. They were full of young energy and made our travel fun and full of adrenaline. 🤣. Thank you again. You made a core memory.

  The tour was absolutely phenomenal. We were able to see a large part of the island, filled with many interesting sights and experiences. Our guide, Kris, was truly wonderful — engaging, flexible, and very easy to connect with. We enjoyed every moment of the day. The tour itself is incredibly fun, and the guide easily adapts to the pace and interests of the group, which makes the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. We genuinely had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the island in a relaxed and entertaining way.

  Fantastic day out, great quads, fantastic guide, a lovely lunch - much better than I had expected, and a real fun packed day. The journey back on the Yippee express was an unexpected treat. Could not have been better
