5.00I came to Egypt with two of my friends from the U.S., and Abdu provided us with an amazing experience. He took us to see the Great Pyramids and brought us to the museum where he explained so much about the ancient gods, goddesses, and kings. He also made sure we got pictures from the best views and spots. I give Abdu a 10/10. If you’re visiting Egypt, please use him…he’s the best and very knowledgeable!

He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history that really brought everything to life. 5.00What a fabulous building. Biggest exhibition museum I’ve ever been to. Very well organised, great on site guide. (Which was long enough) giving time to explore on your own. Very clean and well operated, good places to eat and drink in the main atrium to rest your legs. Will have to go back. Only advice would be, make it a full day. Get an early start, there is so much to see.

5.00We couldn’t recommend Abdu enough! We had an amazing day - being flooded with incredible information at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The flow between all 12 sections was seamless. Our tour of the Pyramids was fascinating. Abdu spoke with such pride for his country and allowed us to walk and talk in the flower wished. What a phenomenal experience! I would also recommend walking inside Khufu’s Pyramid - WOW! If you’re looking for a sign to book a guided tour - this is it!

5.00We booked Abdu for a private tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids for our family of 6 (3 young adults aged 19-20, and 3 adults), and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the start, Abdu was professional and accommodating. He arrived early for pickup at our hotel, and when we were running 15 minutes late, he waited patiently without any complaints. During the drive to GEM, he kept everyone engaged with interesting history and questions tailored to our group. All three young adults specifically commented on how excellent his English was compared to other guides we had in Cairo. His use of American slang made conversations feel natural and easy to follow. At the GEM, we did a 2-hour highlights tour covering all the greatest hits. Abdu’s passion for Egyptian history and this new museum was contagious. He answered every question thoughtfully and his knowledge was impressive. As a photographer himself, he took wonderful photos of our family throughout the visit with great compositions and angles. When we couldn’t find what we wanted at the GEM gift shop, Abdu drove us to a nearby marketplace where we found beautiful souvenirs at half the price. He also took us to a local coffee shop and patisserie when the museum restaurant had a long wait, showing his flexibility and local knowledge. The afternoon at the Giza Pyramids was where Abdu truly went above and beyond. We had a professional photographer for a photo session, and Abdu stayed the entire time helping in every way possible. He coordinated with the camel handler, walked through the sand carrying our bags, took additional photos on our phones, even tied my son’s headscarf in the traditional way. His warmth and genuine care for our experience was touching. Abdu made our day special not just through his expertise, but through his kindness and enthusiasm. He felt less like a hired guide and more like a friend showing us his beloved city. We left him a generous tip because he truly earned it. If you want a guide who is knowledgeable, flexible, great with young adults, speaks excellent English, and genuinely cares about your experience, book Abdu. He made our visit to the GEM and Pyramids one of the highlights of our Egypt trip. Highly recommended!

He’s attentive to your needs and makes sure he provides you with exceptional customer service. He is also a great photographer and pays attention to detail.
