Travel To Egypt - Aswan
Begin with pickup at your centrally-located hotel or cruise ship by our Representative to start your tour to visit Nubian Village. Transfer to a jetty on the Nile River, where you’ll board a boat for west Sohail. Depending on river conditions and the weather, you’ll travel in a traditional felucca sail boat, or in a modern motorboat. Take in views of the Nile riverbanks on the way to west Sohail, passing Elephantine Island along the way. Disembark on west Sohail. and visit a traditional Nubian house to learn about the history and culture of the Nubian people over a glass of welcome tea. After your time at the house, take a walk to explore the Nubian Village on your own, strolling through brightly-painted villages, and chatting with the locals. At the end, meet back up at the boat jetty, where you’ll begin the return trip to Aswan. This tour include with drop-off at your hotel or cruise ship at roughly.

Transfer to a jetty on the Nile River, where you’ll board a boat for Sohail Island. Depending on river conditions and the weather, you’ll travel in a traditional felucca sailboat, or in a modern motorboat. Take in views of the Nile riverbanks on the way to Sohail Island, passing Elephantine Island along the way. Disembark on Sohail Island, and visit a traditional Nubian house to learn about the history and culture of the Nubian people over a glass of welcome tea. After your time at the house, take a walk to explore the island on your own, strolling through brightly-painted villages, and chatting with the locals. At the end of the afternoon, meet back up at the boat jetty, where you’ll begin the return trip to Aswan. This tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or cruise ship at roughly 5:30 pm.

5.00This trip was absolutely amazing!! Alaaedine went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. He was so friendly and accommodating. He took us on a sunset Nile cruise which was magical and we had tea in a traditional Nubian family home. He then took us into downtown Aswan and showed us around the souks. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a good mix of sights to see in Aswan!

5.00We had a great time with Ahmed on our Nubian excursion. We had a great boat ride thru Nile to the village followed by Nubian house overview. The main attraction was the pet crocodiles. I recommend this activity if you have leisure time.

5.00Guide Mohamed (Mo) was incredible, answering all my doubts and helped me with the photos! She also made sure to meet my expectations as at the end, she was not satisfied with the tour and was very efficient and friendly to try to resolve.

5.00Ahmed was so wonderful today and made sure we made the most of our time. We had a great day, he went out of his way to help us from start to finish and really made the effort to get my two year old to enjoy herself too. Really glad we went!

5.00Mo took me on a fascinating trip to the Nubian island. It was like sailing away to a far and distant land of an ancient culture, but without the distance! Mo taught me all about Nubian life,m, and he patiently took many great pictures on my phone! Mo is a great guide!

5.00Our tour to the Nubian Village was spectacular. Our tour guide Marwa was very welcoming, polite, professional and knowledgeable. She suggested we take the tour during the beginning of sunset on a private boat which turned out being perfect. She shared many good facts, history about the culture Aswan, Nubia and Egypt. We even learned a little bit of common Arabic phrases which was a nice touch. To end the tour, she brought us to an amazing Nubian restaurant with the best authentic food. I still can’t stop thinking about how good the food was! Overall a good tour, with a great tour guide. Than you Marwa!

5.00What an amazing time ! I had Nermien as a guide, who is just lovely ! I was very happy to have an Egyptian woman, with whom I exchanged a lot, on various subjects. It helped me to connect and understand the local culture better. She was patient and caring. She was happy to have a chat when I wanted to, or simply let me enjoy a nap on the boat. We had amazing local food at a typical Nubian house. (On top of that, great price price for the trip!) I strongly recommend it.
