1.00The visit to the caves was the great disappointment of the whole trip to Slovenia: They have no guides who speak Spanish and we made the mistake of taking the tickets (+140 €!!) with the guide in English. They joined us with +80 people with ONE GUIDE for all (watch, of the 90 minutes of the visit, 45 minutes spend waiting and getting on/off the train that travels the 3.5 km out and back, 15 minutes are kept at the end to ensure that you can spend money in the store that they have inside and in between they spend ONLY 30 MINUTES to walk the 1.5 km of cave that they allow in the visit, making ONLY 3 stops of the guide (who had to wait until they all joined) to give explanations, making the whole run, NO information of what we were seeing and NO time to stop to enjoy the visit. It's very sad considering that we scrolled from afar just to see them, and all to sell more tickets.

5.00What a great tour!! Damien was our guide from Istranka. He was very patient with our group of 35. He's very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. The caves were AMAZING!!

5.00This was a wonderful shore excursion! The caves were magnificent! It is a must see if you are in Slovenia. Our tour guide was very informative about the area, culture and history. The pick up point was directly off the ship and they were very punctual in returning us to the ship. Definitely would recommend

5.00So pretty and interesting. Definitely lots of walking and chilly. Couldn’t hear the guide but that was part of the cave staff. Very slippery so wear sneakers. The train was an experience but fun and one of a kind

5.00We had a sensational day. Our guide Sonja, was knowledgeable, Gracious and considerate. She enhanced what was already a great experience. The caves are an absolute must see and th castle is incredible.

1.00Very unorganized when I booked tour thought it was for 8:30 in the morning. That was the time tour kiosk opened, tour wasnt until 10:45, was told I was sent a message the day before giving me the time (never received) but how are you going to inform someone the day before of the time? We had other plans later in day which had to be cancel since tour started 2 hrs later then expected. Should inform people of the time when they book not the time you open.

5.00Great caves. Kids loved them. Not too far from the port. Bus meets you from the ship and returns you there so very handy. Castle was beautiful
