Guatemalan Cooking Class with a Market Tour starts in the morning or in the afternoon with a visit of the local market in Antigua. Your host Joaquin will take you through the outside and inside market area where you will learn all about Guatemalan fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices while purchasing fresh products directly from local growers to use in your cooking class.

Roberto ( ebbher) was amazing. So knowledgable and gave us such an in depth tour of the market. The food we cooked was delicious and we had such a fun time with the group. They went above and beyond. This was a great experience for learning more about the local Antiguan cuisine, culture and way of life. The market tour was very informative, and we had such a fun time cooking. And, all of the food was absolutely delicious! I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an hands-on experience in Antigua

The market tour with Fernanda was fun! She was extremely friendly and made the experience well worth it. Belinda, the chief, was amazing, had lots of patience with the group and was very friendly as well. The rooftop view was beautiful. My husband and I were so impressed with the whole experience and take a beautiful memory back home. Hands down the best experience!

Fernanda is like no other her wonderful spirit started off the tour perfect. I was so tired at the beginning of the tour but was able to get the energy I needed because of her. She was very helpful and didn’t hesitate to explain anything I have questions about. The cooking class was excellent, every participant got to be hands on with the cooking process. The class will be highly recommended by anyone who visits.

Started at the market with Fernanda and had a great time exploring and acquiring some Guatemalan produce to taste at the class. The class was very hands on in a fun and lively atmosphere.

Dario was fab and Francis. Buying the food in the market before the cooking class was a great experience with chef Dario! Food was amazing and lots of fun too. Really recommend.
