5.00The archaeological remains of Punic Carthage and Roman Carthage are spread out over a fairly sizeable area. The main way that people tend to see these sites is by taxi, hopping from one to the other. We were keen to get a greater sense of the whole, and to appreciate the topography of the site more fully. This bicycle tour was absolutely the best way to go about this. We opted for the e-bikes, which were super and made the travel very easy indeed. The cycle from place to place gave us a brilliant perspective on the shape of the city as a whole. The ability to construct a real shape of the city from seeing it like this was extraordinarily valuable. What made the whole experience so special though was the quality of our guide. Mourad Belaidi was, honestly, exceptional. I’m a history teacher with a decent knowledge of the ancient world. Mourad was a different level. He brought a wonderful perspective on things and was willing to discuss ideas and thoughts throughout the trip. The trip was not particularly cheap in comparison to a taxi tour, but when one considers that we were with Mourad on the bikes for over four hours, it feels like the best money we’ve spent on this trip so far. Genuinely exceptional value and a truly memorable experience. I could not recommend it highly enough.

5.00I can thoroughly recommend this tour by electric bicycle - I managed to cover many amazing sites in a short period of time. The guide Mourad was very informative and chilled - no rush - and thoughtful! The service was amazing and the bikes simple to use!

5.00We had such a wonderful time with Gigi! He was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. We learned so much and e were able to see many archeological sites efficiently because we were using bicycles. Our only wish is that the ride itself was longer, as the rides between stops were very short. Part of a cycling experiences is if couse, a chance to ride a bike In a new city. ;) Thank you for the great morning!

5.00Having not rode for a decade, one of our party was a bit apprehensive about doing a bike tour of Carthage. Rania from the company was quick to reply to emails and accomodating, suggesting we could practice on the bikes prior to the tour commencing with the option of changing it to a walking tour if needed. In the end we ended up doing the bike tour and our guide Jibrane was very knowledgeable and helpful, encouraging us to ask questions. We went at our own pace and never felt rushed, even when we struggled up the hill to the cathedral towards the end. It's a bit pricy but you are paying for well maintained bikes, good service and a knowledgeable guide. Recommend.
