You will be diving with a PADI professorial guide that is well knowledgeable in all the dive sites and will know the best sites for the conditions and skill level that day. If our guide brings a camera the photos can be offered to you free of charge. Our guides will get you the most out of your dive and can also help give suggestions of other things to do while on your vacation

One of our SDI or PADI certified Dive Masters or Instructors will guide Scuba divers who want to explorer the amazing colorful coral reefs and reef life that Rincon Puerto Rico offers. Some of our locations offer wall diving and others are shallower for great Macro Photography lighting. One of our knowledgeable and experienced guides will guide you through the reefs and help you explore the best of this underwater paradise. here at Great Escape Puerto Rico we also offer a 2 tank dive. All dives include tanks and weights. Standard scuba dive gear is available to rent at a small additional cost. We meet at our location in Rincon PR and go over waivers and equipment (if needed). The dive location will be determined the night prior. From there we can dive right from the beach into the ocean. Our dives sites offer different dives and depths for all levels of recreational scuba diving.

5.00I traveled to Rincon and completed my open water Scuba certification with Great Escape PR. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging throughout the process. My dive instructor Juan followed all safety protocols and ensured that I was completing all diving skills correctly. My last dive was incredible, and we saw a stingray, a turtle, and lobsters! Juan also took photos of everything, which was a wonderful memory of this dive! I highly recommend Great Escape PR for any Scuba/snorkeling in Rincon!

5.00Our guide Juan was relaxed yet professional. When we arrived, he had already prepared all our equipment. All we had to do was put on our gear and we were ready to dive. Although it was a beach dive, we saw lots of marine life and reefs. 100% recommended.

5.00This was a fun dive experience off a beautiful and peaceful beach. We got to see a lot of marine life, including an Angel fish. Our Dive Guide, Dave, was enthusiastic and personable! He had great stories and an awesome energy. He was patient with us since we hadn’t been diving in a year and a half. Dave also gave us great suggestions on restaurants and bars.

4.00This was a fun easy dive! Hayden was a great guide: knowledgeable, funny, and made us feel safe. The reef was very pretty. Lots of coral and fish variety. Be aware that it’s a long swim to and from the reef and some of the rented equipment showed signs of wear.

5.00One of the best shore dives I have done in a while. Roxanne was a rock star! Not a marine biologist but Rincon's has some of the most healthy, incredible reefs.
Not Recommended for Beginners or Divers Not in Great Shape

2.00I can't say enough good things about our guide Hayden. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgable and reassuring. I have about 175 dives and my son has only about a dozen. We probably made a mistake going on the 1P dive this time of year as the water is a bit unpredictable in terms of visibility, current, and choppiness. I'm guessing the early morning dive is a bit more manageable. That said, I cannot recommend this dive for beginners or people not in very good shape. Shore diving requires a lot more work on the diver's part in carrying all the heavy gear, navigating the surf, and the long swim to the reef (we actually never made it as, after about 15 minutes (and still only HALF way there) my son got a bit spooked by the incoming weather (turns out he was right) and stress of being so far out without a boat.

5.00i did the two tank certified dive with hayden and had an absolute blast! not only was hayden extremely professional, he put my worries at ease. when i arrived at the dive site everything was hooked up and ready to go, all i had to do was put the gear on and get into the water. i had so much fun, i booked a snorkel tour the next day with my mom so she could experience the beautiful PR waters! i know there are a lot of options for tours in rincón but i highly recommend you go with great escapes! can’t wait to come back!
