There will be a guided tour of the Boquete Municipal Market, you will learn the history of the Building, learn about seasonal fruits and vegetables from our local producers. At the end we will have a sensory tasting of 3 coffees (2 traditional and 1 exotic) where you will learn the different ways to filter coffee, discovering which method best rescues the aromas and flavors.

My wife and I arrived at the meetup point 10 minutes before the tour and waited another 40 minutes for the guide to show. He/she never did. Nor was there any message or apology.

I have lived in Boquete six months and really wasn't aware that there was a local Farmers Market!! Giovy was an excellent guide; showed me around the market and introduced me to vendors and I bought some banana vinegar, which was something new to me. When we went across the street to the Vintage Cafe, for the coffee tasting, Luis the owner was very gracious and I learned a lot about the coffee they serve there and how it is "brewed". I highly recommend this tour.

Great Asset for Boquete Visitors and Residents Although I've lived and shopped in Boquete for five-plus years, I joined two U.S. friends for Giovy's tour. It was informative and enjoyable. The three of us especially enjoyed sampling coffee from several small growers in the region. When I return to the market I will feel more confident as I decide which vendors to choose. Giovy is an asset to Boquete.

The vast area of knowledge of both the guide and the farmers about their produce. In addition the tasting and savor of varieties of coffee.

I would have loved to meet Giovy and his activities 6 months ago when I arrived in Boquete; after the visit to the market I feel more confident and safer to do my weekly purchases in the local market. Thank you very much Giovy, I learned a lot!

Giovy is engaging and informative. The market tour was great, we learned about indigenous chiriqi and panamanian produce and their uses. It's overwhelming to navigate the market without guidance from a local. We also spent time learning about the process for brewing a perfect cup of Boquete coffee at The Vintage café.

Giovy is very knowledgeable on the various fruits and vegetables that are grown in Boquete and the surrounding areas. We visited several vendors and saw their offerings. She also showed me a vendor that had authentic Panamanian-made souvenirs to take back to the US when I visit. Our final stop was at a coffee shop where they fully explained the various roasts and beans and then poured me a couple of cups of coffee to try. That was a very unique experience with the way the gentleman there brewed my coffee. I enjoy learning more about Boquete and Giovy is a wonderful hostess in leading this.

Great introduction to local, away from expat oriented market, better prices, what’s available, how to keep , and cook.Then onto to a coffee tasting and educational hour.

The Boquete Pub Crawl organized by Giovy was a really fun time! Me and my friends were taken by bus to 10 different restaurants and bars around town to enjoy a choice of 2 different drinks and a small appetizer. It was great opportunity to meet some fun people and experience a variety of local drinks and cuisine. Giovy was very organized even though there were around 40 pub crawlers. She is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Her events are highly recommended.

The coffee experience. Luis was extra knowledgeable about the cultivation and processing of Panamanian Coffee. The coffee tasting was amazing! I bought some to take home!
