Our Company's exclusive Hookah Shark Cage Diving tour allows for uninterrupted views of a variety of shark species and other marine animals.
No previous diving experience is necessary as the onboard air supply uses only compressed air (no nitrox) that allows divers to breathe comfortably through a regulator, just below the surface of the water.

Sightings of shark species are not guaranteed, given the unpredictable nature of marine life. If you don't encounter sharks during your tour, we don't provide refunds. However, we offer no-shark vouchers, valid for 2 years, enabling you to return for another trip at no extra cost. Please be aware that this voucher doesn't include transportation.

This premium experience uses a continuous onboard air-supply system that allows you to breathe comfortably underwater, giving you long, uninterrupted viewing time inside the cage — perfect for adventurers, photographers, and anyone wanting the closest connection to these magnificent animals. No previous diving experience is required. Our highly trained crew and marine biologists will guide you through everything you need to know, from safety to shark behaviour. Your full experience lasts approximately 4 hours from arrival to departure, including 2–2.5 hours at sea, depending on shark activity, weather conditions, and natural behaviour. Please Note: For safety reasons, children under 12 may not participate in hookah diving unless they hold a valid junior diving certification. Proof of certification is required at check-in. Children may still enjoy surface viewing from the boat. 5.00Amazeballs experience with White Shark Diving Company! 🦈🙌 From the clear safety briefing to tagging along as the boat docked and sailed out, everything was well planned and super smooth. The crew guided us all the way from start to finish—absolute legends. My family loved every bit of it and felt safe the entire time. Huge kudos to the awesome team! 11/10 experience!

5.00This experience was the highlight of my trip to South Africa. We selected the pickup option from Cape Town and our driver arrived right on time and was extremely friendly. Once we arrived, the team gave us a safety briefing and they also provided breakfast as it was an early start. We then headed out and were lucky enough to see so many sharks. It was genuinely incredible. We even saw a massive manta ray! The team’s passion for marine life truly stood out and I really appreciated the care and enthusiasm they brought to the experience. We the returned for a delicious lasagna before our driver took us back to Cape Town. For what you pay, this experience is 100% worth it. Thank you so much to the amazing team at White Shark!

5.00Excellent experience. The team was very good and went into details about everything. Keith is very good at his job along with his crew getting the dives organised and Lauren really helped with coordinating the booking and helping out with do's/dont's on the trip. Even the breakfast and lunch we were served was top notch. Excellent experience.

5.00Being a solo traveller, I was apprehensive about attending the trip alone, but the staff were very accommodating and professional. Even though I made up part of a big group the whole experience felt personalized to each and every one of us. Our dive masters and guide really know how to make the whole trip seamless and stress free from the second you set off from shore... Along the way we were taught about the coastline, area, shark behaviours and loads of info about the company's conservation efforts in Soith Africa... All the equipment that was on offer was all great quality and in great shape; and one of the dive masters was an expert in sizing people up for the correct size wetsuits and boots so no one was uncomfortable during their time on the boat and in the water. We were very lucky on my trip to see many sharks that were really engaging with each dive group, the tour operators really did pick the perfect spot for the anchor point. I would highly recommend any of the experiences with this company, they are not just a group of people with a boat and dive gear, they actually have an unwavering passion for what they do ! And they are truly dedicated to sharing their knowledge and passion for the marine ecosystem of South Africa; they take great pride in this service and it really shows ! It was always a dream of mine to cage dive with sharks and that was made a reality amd unforgettable experience thanks to the White Shark Diving Company :)

5.00Had an incredible experience shark cage diving. I opted for the air supply which was very easy to use. Managed to see around 15 sharks throughout the duration which was definitely a surreal experience. Keith the head instructor and the whole crew were great, very informative and friendly. Would 100% recommend!

5.00Unbelievable experience, never thought we would see so many sharks, team were great and made us feel very safe on the boat. Definitely would go again and highly recommend.

4.00Seeing 15+ sharks and a big sting ray, good amount of time in the water. Definitely recommend the hookah system. Crowd size was a little too big but was overall ok. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Disappointed we didn’t see a white shark but can’t control nature.

5.00Excellent experience would definitely recommend this company, everyone was very professional and kept you at ease I never felt nervous once. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to go whale watching, so I can’t comment on that. The shark experience was 100% worth it, and definitely do the hookah it’s worth the extra money.

1.00The team was really good and the welcoming really good. We where really disapointed with the experience, saw barely nothing ( 1 Shark from the deck), saw nothing in the cage, did not use the hookah we had paid for. Not worth the money to be honest. I do not recommand it. Quite expensive, ok to see something, not ok to see a single shark from the deck. I am not happy to write this. It s what we felt.
