4.00We did not see a whale but we did see lots of porpoises for about 15 minutes at one stop. The 12 pm trip was on a cold and windy day and we were freezing. The “guide” on the ship’s microphone knew nothing about what we were seeing despite what the site’s page said about knowledgeable guides. The “food” is candy and soda so bring your own food .

5.00What a great trip. We almost got to Catalina Island before we spotted a group of 4 grey whales heading north for the summer months. We followed then for a while then saw a Fin whale in the distance so headed off and spent a little time with him. We were lucky.
