  We booked with Opi Adventures after a recommendation from friends who had completed the Ha Giang Loop with them, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We specifically wanted a smaller group and private rooms, and Opi was perfect—groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people, whereas we heard some other companies can have groups of up to 90. We chose the 3-day, 2-night tour. Opi arranged a sleeper bus from Hanoi, which arrived at their office at 2:00 a.m. ahead of our 7:30 a.m. departure. Before the trip, I told our guide, Hue (Johnny), that I was planning to propose to my partner during the loop. His response was, “Don’t worry, I’ll let you know the best time.” What followed were the most incredible three days of our lives. Safety: We always felt completely safe with Hue and Giang. They rode responsibly, only overtaking when they had excellent visibility ahead and keeping speeds comfortable throughout the journey. Protective pads were also provided for anyone who wanted them. The Tour: The Ha Giang Loop is, without question, one of the best experiences we have ever had. If you’re considering it, stop thinking and book it. If you’re visiting Vietnam, this is an absolute must-do. Food: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included, with a variety of delicious local Northern Vietnamese dishes served throughout the trip. Evening Activities: The evenings were just as memorable as the days. We enjoyed karaoke on the first night and stayed at a traditional homestay on the second, which was a fantastic cultural experience. Personal Touch: What really set Opi apart was the effort they made to personalise the experience. After learning about my proposal plans, Hue adjusted the itinerary and helped create a truly unforgettable moment by arranging flowers and a bamboo boat tour. We can’t thank Hue, Giang, and the entire Opi team enough for making this trip so special. It was an experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. 5 stars!

  Amazing tour guides. They were a lot of fun! Felt safe the entire time, and food/homestays were great. The route had amazing views and we were able stop and take photos a lot while also staying on safe roads. Would highly recommend!!

  We did 3-day tour with easy drivers (Ha Giang loop). I don’t think I’ve seen something more beautiful than things during these 3 days. But the most important - people. The Bear’s team and other tourists made this journey unforgettable. Food is delicious and traditional. I cannot recommend it enough. I love it!!!

  Amazing few days with Ding and the gang. Phenomenal views, won’t see anything else like it. Safe drivers and gave us an insight into Vietnamese culture we wouldn’t have had otherwise. Top recommend!

  Amazing experience from start to finish! Everything about the tour exceeded expectations, and the drivers were truly outstanding. We always felt completely safe, even on challenging roads, thanks to their skill, awareness, and professionalism. On top of that, the guides made the whole journey so much fun. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and created such a great atmosphere throughout the trip. The Ha Giang Loop itself is simply breathtaking, the views are absolutely stunning at every turn, and it’s hard to put into words just how beautiful the landscape is. I would highly recommend this tour and operator to anyone considering the trip, it’s an unforgettable experience. A special shoutout to my driver, Phan Hoang, genuinely the best driver ever!!

  Great experience with Opi adventures. Many thanks to our easy driver Phú, Hoàng and Dūng who were really amazing. They were attentive and took care of our safety from A to Z. We laughed a lot with them, despite the language barrier and one of them was able to explain everything we wanted to know about the region! The landscapes are magnificent and more beautiful than each other. The food is excellent and in great quantity. They are very welcoming and generous although it was memorable so thank you thank you thank you thank you! PS: they are small groups, there were 3. Whether you are looking to meet people and be several.

  I’ll try to find the words for this experience. Firstly - I was so so happy to be in a small group for this trip. I felt so so safe, was able to fully enjoy the experience and felt I could really take it all in. To Happy and the rest of the gang - thank you so so much! Tips: pack light, bring a small towel and swimwear. There are a couple of waterfalls that you can swim in!

  

  

  

• 3 day Ha Giang Loop

  We have just had the most wonderful three day motorbike tour. Our guide Hung and his colleagues were such incredibly safe drivers, which became evident throughout the three days as we saw other groups unsafely passing us, overtaking on blind corners and speeding. Hung and his colleagues were very kind, considerate and caring - We couldn't have hoped for a better experience and feel blessed that we had them as our guides and drivers. If you value safety, don't book with anyone else.
