At QT we arrange top quality motorcycle tours ranging from 3 to 8 days. We are specialized on tours of northern Vietnam; Ha Giang & Cao Bang with majestic mountains and plentiful ethnic minorities.

Our customers consist of solo riders, couples, families, groups of friends and motorcycle clubs. Majority of tours at QT are custom made to meet the motorcycle skill level, time available and interest of our customers. You may ride behind our skilled guides/drivers or if sufficiently experienced drive yourself. On tours of four or more days we can include some light trekking for those interested.

Our guides are local resources with a passion and pride for motorcycling. They are mainly from poor backgrounds with good verbal English skills. They are not anthropologist nor historians, but they are a jolly team who know their culture and the unbeaten paths. And, love to show you the best that this region has to offer.

• 9:00 AM: After breakfast, depart from Ha Giang City to Quan Ba District (50km). Along the scenic winding roads, you’ll enter the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. Pass through Bac Sum Pass, flanked by majestic mountains, and stop at Heaven’s Gate to enjoy coffee, breathtaking views, and a chance to photograph Tam Son Town and the iconic Twin Mountains of Quan Ba, nestled amid lush rice fields.

Lung Khuy Cave

11:45 AM: Arrive at Tam Son Town for lunch. Afterward, head to Lung Khuy Village for a 4km hike to the stunning Lung Khuy Cave, followed by a visit to the Lung Tam weaving village. Here, you’ll learn about the H’mong people’s traditional linen weaving and clothing-making processes.

Can Ty

5:00 PM: Reach the homestay in Can Ty Commune, drop off your belongings, and take a short 2km walk to the Lonely Tree (approximately 250 years old). • Evening: Enjoy a local dinner at the homestay, rest, and prepare for the next day’s adventures.

After breakfast, set off from Can Ty to Tham Ma Pass, a breathtaking route on Highway 4C with spectacular views. Stop at Tham Ma Pass for photos and to admire its beauty. Continue 20km to visit the Vua Meo Mansion, a 100-year-old architectural gem valued at over 150 billion VND. Learn about the history of the H’mong people and the legacy of the Meo King.

Continue along Sa Ly Pass, known for its iconic M-shaped curves and stunning landscapes. 11:30 AM: Stop for lunch in Mau Due Town, then enjoy coffee and a scenic break in Lung Ho Town before heading to the picturesque Du Gia Valley, home to over 17 ethnic groups and 600 households.

My dad and I opted for the private tour mainly so we wouldn't be in dorm rooms and be with a big group of younger people. But it also meant we left early in the morning to avoid crowds and not waiting around a lot, taking everything at our own pace. Incredible views, great accommodation with comfortable twin rooms throughout and you were never hungry! However it was our easy riders that really made our experience so amazing. The first 2 days it rained but our tour guides were full of energy, excitement and positivity it was infectious. Super safe drivers not over taking or speeding unnecessarily. A real pleasure to hang out with and get to know over 4 days. They did so much for us and we cant thank them enough! Thank you so much Marco and Niem!!!!!

Had an amazing time with buffalo. All the easy drivers and our group leader Pao was really nice and helpful. The days were well planned. The home stays were simple but clean and nice. The food was amazing, the vegetarian options as well! If you wanna party, this is a good company for you. We got more than enough Happy water and every evening was karaoke evening. The rooms are not very sound proof so if you wanna go to bed early, you will have to fall asleep to the music.

I had an amazing time with buffalo. Our leader, Pao, was so great at getting us around and showing us the beautiful landscape. I felt very safe with my easy rider, Sau, and he made the experience so fun. Everyone was incredibly kind and when I hurt my foot, Sau, drove me to two pharmacies to get the medicine. Definitely would recommend for other solo travellers.

Very nice experience! The food was sooo good with a lot of options! The easy riders were so kind and I felt very safe. An extra shoutout to Pao and Hai Duong! 100% recommend!

Good road trip of 4 days. Crew is very nice, organisation is well thought. Second day is a strong day, could be good to cut it in half, otherwise go ahead, QT/Buffalo are good ! Thanks Pao :)
