1.00Booked as a birthday surprise for my wife – and what a disappointment: On-site, we were told "We are closed," our confirmed booking was not in the system. Several guests experienced the same thing. We have not received a response to our email to Smidtje Canal Cruises to this day. Only TripAdvisor helped – that is how we got our money back. From the provider itself: zero response. Not recommended.

1.00Showed up along with several others that had booked the tour and there was not boat. No notification. I have messaged the tour operator about a refund and no response.

3.00My friends and I had a nice evening with a nice wine and cheese. The cruise added nothing to this. The skipper did not tell us anything about the area and the friendly hostess read her wine and cheese 'knowledge' from an A4 sheet.

5.00Very nice to sail over the waters of Haarlem while enjoying 3 delicious wines & cheeses, about which you get a short explanation, and meanwhile the guide (by means of a recorded tape) tells what is around you to see, we enjoyed!

4.00Delicious cheese and wine eaten and drunk only the boat was too big they told us so we could not go through the city center, we were sorry. Only along the Spaarne was not that fascinating.
Recommended if you are in Haarlem;)

3.00We had booked through groupon so t price was technically ok but if you pay 40 pp that was not worth it. The boat sails back and forth and the cheese board is very skinny with 3 wines. We did get vd nice lady n refill and the wine quality was very good.
