4.00We booked a tour of the El Yanque Rainforest through Viator. We were picked up from our hotel on time and our driver was friendly, informative and spoke very good English. The 5 hour tour was well worth the $85/ person. We saw the highlights of the rain forest, historic sites and learned of the damage from hurricanes. We did have a lunch stop at a location that was crowded and seemed to run out of most items. A dish that supposedly had beef in it seemed to be mostly deep fried dough. I did enjoy trying a plantain. The highlight of the tour was the hike to a beautiful pool on a river in the rainforest. Some people swam while others simply enjoyed the scenery.
