Soon after pickup, we’ll drive along the M5, connecting to the M4 via Muizenberg, St. James, and Fish Hoek beaches, following the scenic False Bay coastline to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
Muizenberg
As we pass Muizenberg Beach, you'll spot the vibrant, colorful beach huts in the distance. These iconic huts resemble the "bathing machines" of the 1800s—cart-like structures once used to allow women to change into their full-length bathing attire before wading into the water. Today, these charming huts serve as convenient changing rooms for sunbathers and surfers enjoying the waves.

Jeff was punctual. He was our driver and guide. He shared several historical info along the way. If you have just half a day and need to see ~3 key places: Penguins, Cape of Good Hope, and Cape Point…book this tour. The Chapman drive/route was a beautiful 4th add-on the way back.

Cape Town absolutely blew us away. Our day at Boulders Beach was surreal — crystal clear water, giant granite boulders, and penguins casually walking around like they own the place. Swimming in that calm little cove with African penguins nearby felt unreal. The water is cold, but the setting is next-level beautiful. From there we drove down to Cape Point, and the views were insane. Dramatic cliffs, crashing ocean, endless blue in every direction. It honestly feels like the edge of the world. The walk up to the lighthouse is worth it for the panoramic views alone. We also stopped along Chapman’s Peak Drive, which might be one of the most scenic coastal drives anywhere — cliffs on one side, ocean on the other. Every turn looks like a postcard. Cape Town is wild, raw, and ridiculously beautiful. Between the beaches, the cliffs, and the wildlife, it’s easily one of the most stunning places we’ve visited. 10/10 would do this tour again.
