According to Greek mythology, Apollo, god of Light - the sun, and Artemis, goddess of the moon, were born on Delos - infamous birthplace of Light, which the Greeks always regarded as precious.
We bring you to the heart of a destination that will mark an unforgettable experience for you and where you will be accompanied by an exceptional certified guide. An entire ancient city awaits. The visitors will have the chance to explore remarkable monuments such as the Stoa of Phillipe, the Propylaia, the Collosus of the Naxians and the Temples of Apollo before the last stop in front of the Sacred Lake and the eternal Naxian Lions.

Last minute cancellation or inability to disembark from a cruise ship, is not our company’s responsibility, therefore any refund requests due to such incidents will not be accepted. Should the client be aware of such a change, he/she is requested to communicate with our company more than 24 hours before the tour or activity starts, in order to discuss possible date or time amendment (subject to availability).
Refund requests for last minute cancellations (up to 24 hours before the tour or activity), for any reason, will not be accepted.
Check-in time is 60-30 minutes before departure time.
The booking voucher doesn't guarantee boarding the boat nor entrance to the archaeological site. Please make sure you arrive at the Delos Tours kiosk in the Old Port 60-30 minutes before departure time to check in and receive your boat ticket. Entrance fees to the Archaeological Site & the Museum are not included and need to be paid at the Delos Tours kiosk upon check in, in cash only. You will receive your ticket to the archaeological site when you arrive in Delos.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The minimum number of participants required for the tour to take place is 8. In the unlikely case that the tour is cancelled because of low participation we will inform you accordingly so you can re-schedule or arrange for a refund

Archaeological Site of Delos
Upon arrival at Delos, your guide will issue tickets to the archaeological site to the group and offer an introduction to the mythological, prehistorical and historical background of the island. Then, set out to explore the narrow streets of the Hellenistic City, built in the 4th century BC, and see highlights such as the impressive house of Dionysos, the statue of Cleopatra, and some exquisite mosaics. After a short stop at the House of the Trident, reach the Theatre of Delos and the public cistern of the city. Stroll down the main street to return to the market and the Sanctuary zone. The Stoa of Phillipe, the donations of ancient celebrities, the Propylaia, the Colossus of the Naxians and the Temples of Apollo are the monuments to be admired before the last stop in front of the Sacred Lake and the eternal Naxian Lions. You will have time to visit the archaeological museum and the museum shop before returning to your boat.

4.00We really enjoyed this tour, it's the best way to immerse yourself with culture and history island of Delos and a variation from Mykonos. The tour was easy to find at old port and on checking in you'll be given the headset and directed where to go. If you want a seat on the upper deck be sure to get there early. It's about a 30 min trip to Delos and for us the waters were really calm. Once you land the guide will meet you. Celia was fantastic, friendly and really knew her stuff. She covers the main parts of the island and there's some time for self exploration. Shoes are recommended but the walking wasn't too arduous, my pregnant wife handled it fine and there was a family with a pushchair who seemed to get on fine as well. I'd strongly recommend bringing water and essentials as the facilities on the island are basic. Exploring the ruins was a highlight of the holiday and well worth the trip. One thing to note, admission to the island is not included in the tour fee. This seems to be the same across all tour companies on TripAdvisor, although some other tours seemed misleading in this respect. The entrance fee was €20 per person which covered access to the whole island and museum. It's annoying to pay separately for this but I'd still consider the trip worthwhile.

5.00A very interesting site to visit as it is an uninhabited archaeological site and also sanctioned by UNESCO. Highly recommended, especially if you’re a history buff. Our guide, I cannot remember her name (we were in Group 2 , 10am tour) was so knowledgeable and that it was such a lovely experience learning about Delos.

4.00Our guide Lia was very good both in her knowledge and communication in English. The boat trip to the island was well organized and handled well. Reduced to 4 stars as the communication equipment was not effective - ill-fitting over the ear pieces with limited range devices. A lot of static and not effective at any reasonable distance.

5.00There's a LOT to see on Delos, & I definitely wouldn't have gotten as much out of the visit if I'd done it without a guide. Mine was excellent, (unfortunately can't remember her name now). There's so much to see, in fact, that it doesn't leave much time for the museum. I think they should have more boats sailing to/from Mykonos so that time isn't as tight. Speaking of, you need to get to the boat at least half an hour before sailing time if you want a seat, going & returning. Heed the admonitions to bring water, and wear sunblock & a hat!!

4.00The trip was a bit expensive. We paid for the guided tour and then were informed the morning of the trip that we needed to pay an additional $20 per person for some kind of fees. We thought our guide Celia was great, but we felt a little taken advantage of with extra fee.

4.00Bring water and maybe a snack because there is nothing offered on the island. Sunscreen and/or a hat is smart too as there is little shade. We enjoyed our tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. Only unfortunate parts were the museum was underwhelming and we were told there was a gift shop but it was closed/nonexistent.

5.00Fantastic tour guide - very friendly and knowledgeable (an archaeologist who works on the island). It is a fantastic place and one that you could revisit and still find something new. However, you do not get the chance to experience the whole site within this tour so I went back the next day and explored it alone. You can easily spend all day here (bring your own lunch and refreshments) but advisable to wear flat shoes!
