  The Half Day Electric Bike Tour was one of the highlights of my 50th Birthday Vacation. I travel annually for my birthday, and I usually run to explore the destination. I’m rehabbing an injury where I can’t run, but I can safely do my other usual exercises. I hadn’t been on a mobile bike in a couple of years (I’m a spin cycle regular), but it was a great experience. I booked this excursion the day before and I didn’t expect to hear from the tour operator since it was a Sunday. A couple of hours after booking, I received a message from one of the owners, Tevin. He answered all my questions including how to book and navigate the ferry from Providenciales. He was very patient and thorough which I appreciated since it was my first time visiting Turks & Caicos. The co-owner, Woodens, led my private tour of the North and Middle Caicos. He was equally patient, courteous, and thorough as Tevin. They are a great pair to lead this company. He met me at the port in North Caicos and gave me a brief history of the areas we passed along the way to Middle Caicos. Before starting the e-bike adventure, he gave me a tutorial of the bike and let me practice a bit before we got on the road. Like a true gentleman who walks on the outside of the street, he rode on my right side, so he was closest to oncoming traffic (there wasn’t much on Middle Caicos, but his chivalry was appreciated). Twin E-bike Tours & Rentals has curated a full tour of key sites of Middle Caicos. Our first stop was Bambarra Beach, rated the #1 beach in the Caribbean. Since I was solo, we had time to stop by another beach before reaching the Conch Bar caves. At this beach, I was able to find two beautiful conch shells as someone had left several of them drying on the rock formation after removing the conch. Woodens added an extra personal touch by cleaning the shells for me to take home (you can take 3 from the island without a permit). I certainly don’t think this is a regular part of the tour, but Woodens offered to do so. Our next stop was the Conch Bar Caves. I don’t think they usually accompany you into the caves since there is a tour guide, but Woodens was a welcome edition as he held my hand during any treacherous or slippery areas. He also graciously took pictures and videos of me throughout the day and never complained. We rode along the North and Middle Caicos Causeway. We visited Mudjin Harbor and Mudjiun Bar& Grill which had great food (I’ll post a separate review). Our lunch stop was right on time as I had worked up quite an appetite after our extensive bike ride. We had more than an hour before the ferry’s departure so stopped at the Flamingo Pond Overlook and Cottage Pond. The flamingos are quite a distance from the lookout point since they are in a protected area, but Woodens was ready with binoculars so I could admire their beauty. He provided the local lore about Cottage Pond as well. Wooden’s love of his home shines throughout the tour. Twin E-bike Tours & Rentals is the best way to explore Middle Caicos especially if you like physical activity during your vacations. It’s amazing how much you can experience in the 5 hours. I also appreciated the per person cost was the same for solo travelers as some excursions add a single supplement. If you are looking for a great way to discover the beauty of Middle Caicos that’s more interactive than renting a car, definitely book with Twin E-bike tours & Rentals. The expert guidance and local insight bring the sites to life rather than exploring on your own. • The perfect way to spend your time when visiting the twin islands!!

  This tour was nothing short of AMAZINGGGG! We were greeted at the ferry and rode to wades green plantation in North Caicos. My family and I were then taken to Middle Caicos via Suv and provided with refreshments during the drive. We toured the caves, had lunch and visited a secluded beach which was very therapeitic and beautiful. Tevin and Reniko are the best team I've ever encountered, both were very knowledgeable of the islands and ever stop. My favorite stop was to see the flamingos and ducks at the big pond. This tour is definitely worth every penny, I highly recommend and I'll be visiting again!!
