Once you meet with your guide at the port of Kusadasi, you will take the minivan, waiting for you in front of the port, and will be on the way for Ephesus for half an hour.
Ancient City of Ephesus
When we reach in Ephesus we start to explore this well-preserved ancient city. It was a city in ancient Greece on the coast of Ionia, 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) southwest of present-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. It was built in the 10th century BC on the site of the former Arzawan capital by Attic and Ionian Greek colonists. During the Classical Greek era, it was one of twelve cities that were members of the Ionian League. The city came under the control of the Roman Republic in 129 BC.

5.00They must wear tennis because the floor is slippery. The archaeological site is extremely interesting and I recommend getting to the site early.

5.00Denis was a great guide! We got lots of details about the area and the ancient areas we visited. He helped us stay on time and we even got in extra things there were not planned. Highly recommend this tour and Denis. Also, we had 2 children that are 7 years old, he was excellent with them!

5.00Ephesus was amazing. There wasn't much to the Mary house but I'm not religious. The tour guide Selcuk was very knowledgeable and informative. He was also extremely kind and courteous. I would 100% recommend him. The van was clean, modern and comfortable (it even had fast charging USB ports). The lunch was traditional but very good. Only two things I wasn't thrilled about. The first was a visit to a rug store. I felt pressured to buy a rug but I wasn't forced. The second thing was the price of the Ephesus tickets. I admit I should have checked this myself, but it would have been nice if this was mentioned when I booked the tour -- it certainly wasn't the tour guide's fault who explained that it was a government decision. Anyway I had a great time and I wholeheartedly recommend this guide, this company, and this excursion.

5.00Our tour of Ephesus was amazing and met all our expectations! Although our time was limited by our cruise ship’s timetable, the pick up at the port was seamless and we were never concerned about making it back to the ship on time. There is so much to see in Ephesus and this personalized tour maximized every moment. Our guide was fantastic - so knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend this tour!

5.00We have a fantastic day Taner was so knowledgeable and a lovely person he also advised of best photos and took some of us together something we don’t really get when on holidays as 2, so happy we booked this way rather than through the cruise line I feel we got so much more out of our time, would 100% recommend booking this trip and with Taner.

5.00We were greeted as soon as we left the port. Excellent guide who was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch was great. Arrived back in plenty of time. Highly recommend this tour and guide - Dennis.
