Having fun, meeting new people and simply enjoy a new experience are all great reasons to enroll in a cooking class.

You can watch all the cooking on TV show as you want, but nothing gives you the hand-on experience of being in a real live class with a real live instructor. You can learn from an instructor who does things in real time without the magic of TV speeding up all the steps. Your instructor can also coach you on proper techniques while answering your cooking questions. Our cooking class can teach new tricks that can make you look and feel like a pro.

Yummy Tasty Thai Cooking School was our first experience in Thailand. We were still a bit delirious from the long flight, but Sky had our full attention once we got going. I can't say enough about Sky and Noodle's professionalism and hospitality. They have the entire experience fine-tuned for maximum fun and efficiency. We learned so much about Thai ingredients and cooking techniques. I loved seeing how baby bananas grow in the protection of a giant purple capsule and had so much fun pounding out my aggression while making curry with a mortar and pestle! I am super impressed with how Sky was able to monitor 6 people cooking different combinations of 5 different dishes around hot oil and sharp knives while doling out instructions and encouragement without skipping a beat. The food we cooked all turned out delicious! The pickup and drop off at our hotel was super convenient as well. Sky and Noodle run classes morning and evening, 7 days a week. Their energy level and dedication is astounding. Since I don't have Facebook, they were kind enough to manually send me pictures from the event via WhatsApp, as if they didn't have enough to do. I am thrilled that we booked this experience and can't wait to try all the recipes at home. Best wishes to Noodle and Sky!

Imagine being whisked away on a culinary chariot—on time, mind you—to a kingdom of flavors! The queens of this realm? Noodle and Sky, aptly named, who first guided us through a vibrant market of ingredients that practically sang to be cooked. Back at the school, we were handed the keys to the culinary kingdom: five dishes—appetizers, soup, main, dessert—like being the chef of your own feast. Prep was minimal but hands-on enough to feel like Thai cuisine sorcerers! The meal? A five-course triumph! Our group of six was like a mini foodie family, and the whole experience was smooth as coconut milk. 10/10—I’d wield a wok with them again!

Everything about the class was amazing! Skye was personable, fun, knowledgeable, and made sure that everyone in the class was able to cook all dishes successfully. She accommodated everyone’s spice tolerance well and helped us adjust flavors to our liking. The hotel pickup and drop off were smooth. About a week before the class, you will be sent a menu with options to choose from for the 5 courses (appetizer, noodle dish, soup, curry, and dessert). Each person can choose what to cook individually. On the day of the class, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to a local market, where many ingredients and foods commonly used in Thai cooking are explained. The guide will buy the fresh items and bring them back to the classroom. Then, over the course of around 4 hours, you’ll be walked through cooking 5 different courses. You’ll cook one or two courses, then pause to eat. I learned lots of basics about Thai cooking and ingredients, and made a delicious meal!

We weren’t sure what to expect in our first overseas cooking class and it was extremely enjoyable. The Operator was great in following up on questions we had before the class and taking care of us. Our instructor, Sky, was excellent as she was witty, engaging and so entertaining. Highly recommend the class…you won’t be disappointed and come hungry!
