Everything about the class was amazing! Skye was personable, fun, knowledgeable, and made sure that everyone in the class was able to cook all dishes successfully. She accommodated everyone’s spice tolerance well and helped us adjust flavors to our liking. The hotel pickup and drop off were smooth. About a week before the class, you will be sent a menu with options to choose from for the 5 courses (appetizer, noodle dish, soup, curry, and dessert). Each person can choose what to cook individually. On the day of the class, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to a local market, where many ingredients and foods commonly used in Thai cooking are explained. The guide will buy the fresh items and bring them back to the classroom. Then, over the course of around 4 hours, you’ll be walked through cooking 5 different courses. You’ll cook one or two courses, then pause to eat. I learned lots of basics about Thai cooking and ingredients, and made a delicious meal!

We weren’t sure what to expect in our first overseas cooking class and it was extremely enjoyable. The Operator was great in following up on questions we had before the class and taking care of us. Our instructor, Sky, was excellent as she was witty, engaging and so entertaining. Highly recommend the class…you won’t be disappointed and come hungry!

Finding out about local cuisine is a sure way to understand part of the Thai culture. We had a great afternoon, starting with a visit to a local market to get all the ingredients, followed by the cooking class ... and not to forget the degustation. Our teacher was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic! Such a great experience, would highly recommend to everyone! We booked this during Songkran and arranged pickup with them the day before, but due to traffic throughout the city they sent a second car to pick us up to make sure we weren't late, IMO that is exceptional service! Our guide/instructor, Sky was so much fun. She was helpful and knowledgeable every step along the way. We were lucky enough to have a small class (just 3 people total), but it was so well thought out and organized I can see how this would be successful for larger classes as well. The food was the icing on the cake, it was all delicious and we were able to all do the prep work / cooking together, despite cooking different dishes. This truly set them apart from other cooking classes we've had before. Honestly, I can't do them justice with this review, but 100% would join this tour again and it's such a bargain too!

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of available dishes to learn, there was around 3 - 5 options for every column of dishes and there were 5 columns to choose from. Meaning 5 dishes were made in one session. I communicated with them to inquire about the hotel pickup availability as it was a bit difficult to get a Grab in Chiang Mai and they offered pickup from a nearby hotel which made things even more convenient. I really appreciate how they explained the ingredients in the market and the rationale behind incorporating them in various dishes as well as the patience and clarity when teaching me and the other tourists how to cook. All in all, very memorable experience. Nice, laid-back, and you get to appreciate the many fruits of your labour.
