This circuit to el-jem allows you to discover its huge coliseum. The Coliseum of El Jem is simply the 3rd largest amphitheater in the Roman world after those of Rome and Capua, and perhaps the best preserved. Indeed his visit amazes with its architecture and the genius developed for its construction. The site is logically classified as World Heritage by UNESCO since 1979.

5.00Great tour around the amphitheatre. Our guide was Nadhmi who drove us an hour each way to visit. Nadhmi was very informative and gave us time to look around and take pictures. You don’t need more than an hour to look around unless visiting local shops too. Great experience.

5.00Nadhmi was super welcoming, from the start of communication about pick up location and time to the drop off back to the hotel. He was very friendly and chatty, knowledgeable and informative. He was patient when my boyfriend and I were looking around and he was kind enough to take photos for us, arrange a camel ride and showed us around Sousse giving recommendations for places to eat and drink. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend!☺️
From all hotel only the entertainment team and the pool guards are good and quality ..professionally work Thanks guys!!

5.00Our guide picked us up and even brought a booster seat for my daughter which was great! He took us all the way to the amphitheater and gave us facts about El Jem, Sousse and Tunisia on the way! He then guided us around the amphitheater itself and told us the history in great detail! A great guide and extremely safe the whole time! I would recommend to anyone

5.00To spend half a day in el jem, one of the 3 Roman necklaces located in Tunisia, el jem 67km below. +-4€ l entrance plus visit to the free museum with the same ticket a little higher in the city, not far from the taxi station that drops off and leaves from under.15tdn round trip i.e. 4,50€ per person. Station renting under mini vans that take 8 spacious people. 10€ total the day, beautiful.
Squashed in a small car

2.00The driver picked us up and another couple that we didn't know and we were all squashed together into a small car. This was very uncomfortable for what was a two hour round trip. My partner and I are both in our 70s and the other couple were around 60, so comfort is a big issue. El Gem was impressive and the driver gave some info, but could have been better.

5.00Found this on Trip Advisor and was an excellent way to visit the coliseum from Sousse. Nadhmi is an excellent guide - knows the history, the local area, even the security at the entrance! Great comms on Trip Advisor & WhatsApp, Nadhmi is great from hotel pick up to drop off. If you want to know more about the history of Tunisia and how to appreciate good olives, this is the trip for you.
