Fort Frederick
Fort Frederick and Fort Matthew are two historic forts perched atop Richmond Hill in St. George’s, Grenada, offering stunning panoramic views of the capital, Grand Anse Beach, and the southern coast. Fort Frederick, built by the French in 1779, is known as the “backward-facing fort” due to its strategic inland design to defend against land attacks. Just a short walk away, Fort Matthew is Grenada’s largest fort, with a fascinating past as a military hospital and later a mental institution. GCNA Grenada Nutmeg
The Grenada Co-operative Nutmeg Association (GCNA) nutmeg plants are at the heart of the island’s identity as the “Spice Isle.” These thriving trees produce the fragrant nutmeg seed and its bright red aril, known as mace. At GCNA processing stations, you can see how nutmeg is harvested, dried, sorted, and prepared for export — a tradition that has powered Grenada’s economy for over a century.

5.00Easy was in touch ahead of time and told us who our guide would be and what he was driving. It was a nice personal touch. Kelton was an EXCELLENT and personable, knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about Grenada. He was very respectful and aware of my husband walking with a cane and adjusted accordingly. No rushing to anywhere. Explained the monkeys were not that active this time of year because they were tending their young. But we lucked out and a local enticed one to come out and local enticed one to come out and play. Kenton even made a shopping stop at our request! We would highly recommend this company for a learning and personalized tour.

5.00This was another wonderful trip with Izzy at Easy Taxi and Tours. It was a bit of a mystery tour off the beaten track. We went on a rainforest walk to the deserted Black Bay beach, which had the most beautiful volcanic diamond sand ❤️ We learned about the plants and abundance of fruits that surround this beach, hiked up to a natural cave with fruit bats 🦇 We swam and snorkelled in the sea to see some amazing colourful coral and fish. It was a fantastic afternoon and Izzy is so knowledgeable and great company. We have had other guides in Grenada (that we booked before arriving) but they are not a patch on Easy Taxis and Tours if you want a trip in Grenada 🇬🇩 You will 100% not be disappointed booking with Izzy.

5.00Such a great way to experience the island! Loved the falls, Nutmeg & Chocolate factory. Monkeys hid on us as it was a bit cloudy but still enjoyed the views of the high elevations! The waterfall was beautiful with the entertainment of a man that jumped off the cliff from approximately 60 feet high!

5.00Easy tours with Izzy was amazing! Izzy is a wealth of knowledge whether you're interested in history, flora, fauna, culture, or just plain fun. We were delighted with our tour and getting to know Izzy herself. I'm sorry we can only offer a 5 star review because she deserves so much more. We plan to return and book with Izzy again.

5.00Went all over the island to see all that Grenada has to offer. Loved the Fort, Waterfall, monkeys, crater lake & how they make nutmeg & chocolate. Enjoyed learning about the islands history too.

5.00Izzy is a wealth of knowledge about Grenada — down-to-earth, personable, and informed on a wide range of subjects. Everywhere we went, Izzy was welcomed with smiles and hugs, which says a lot about the connection to the community. From the spice market and Tri-Island Chocolate to the forts, lake, and waterfalls, we learned an incredible amount about the island’s history, plants, and natural surroundings. Izzy navigated the island’s busy traffic with impressive skill while sharing insights and pointing out details that an ordinary tour driver would likely overlook. It’s clear that Izzy truly loves and lives this island. This tour delivers passion for Grenada’s culture and landscape, excitement along the journey, and deep knowledge of the “Spice Island” and its people.

5.00Izzy put together a custom full day tour of Grenada to include all the points of interest that we wanted to see. Izzy has a great energy that carries the day and makes for an unforgettable experience. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge of Greneda, it's heritage and a wealth of contacts across the island. This resulted in great access and insight to all our activities. It was wonderful to see her pick up new knowledge during the day as well. Thankyou Izzy for a fabulous day
