GCNA Grenada Nutmeg
The Grenada Co-operative Nutmeg Association (GCNA) nutmeg plants are at the heart of the island’s identity as the “Spice Isle.” These thriving trees produce the fragrant nutmeg seed and its bright red aril, known as mace. At GCNA processing stations, you can see how nutmeg is harvested, dried, sorted, and prepared for export — a tradition that has powered Grenada’s economy for over a century.

5.00Izzy was incredible! I had done an island tour before but she taught me so much more about the island that I was no aware of. I felt that we had plenty of time at every location, not too long, but not rushed either. All of her suggestions were spot on. I cannot wait to try the restaurants she recommended. This tour is absolutely worth every penny.

5.00Our tour guide Izzy was fantastic It’s her own business & she is very passionate & extremely knowledgeable about the island She did not rush us anywhere we went at our pace I would highly recommend this company to everyone who wants to learn about Grenada it’s history & beautiful scenery

5.00My husband and I spent a wonderful morning with Izzy from Easy Taxi & Tours touring the stunning island of Grenada.We booked our tour on the recommendation of a lovely lady from the dive shop next to The Calabash hotel where we are staying.She knows Izzy personally and had used her herself when having friends and family to stay so we knew we would be in safe hands! We are so grateful for the recommendation as Izzy was the perfect tour guide.She knew Grenada like the back of her hand and offered us a great insight into this beautiful country.It was very easy to communicate with Easy Taxi & Tours via WhatsApp-they were very responsive and took the time to find out exactly where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do.Izzy planned a bespoke tour for us which included Belmont Chocolate Estate,Grand Etang lake,River Antoine rum distillery and other stops along the way to point out interesting places.Izzy was incredibly friendly and informative.giving us lots of information about Grenada and its culture,and looked after us so well.We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would not hesitate to recommend Izzy and Easy Taxi & Tours!The highlight for me was Izzy taking the time to go back via Grand Etang as we had missed the Mona monkeys on our first stop.Luckily the monkeys appeared for us and we were able to meet them up close under the careful supervision of a local man who cares for them.A very special moment! Many thanks to Izzy for giving us the best tour!

5.00Izzy is the best on the island. She is so friendly and knowledgeable and really passionate about her tours. Even though it rained and the monkeys refused to come out to see us we had fun chatting to the locals and buying local produce.

5.00Our tour with Isobel was fantastic! Not only is she very knowledgeable and experienced, but she is one of the nicest people I have met. Driving around Grenada seems like a challenge at times and she was an expert. We learned so much about the history of the island and visited some really cool places. I would definitely sign up for another tour with Isobel during my next visit to Grenada. If you want a fun and informative day then I highly recommend signing up for a tour with Isobel!

5.00Izzy was an incredible guide. She is very knowledgeable and personable. Every place we visited was an opportunity to sample and purchase chocolates and nutmeg items. We also received some insights about local artisans. Izzy packs a lot in a half day, but you don't feel rushed. As a previous reviewer said, this is a must do if you are in Grenada.

5.00This was better than we expected! Izzy was brilliant. Such a wealth of knowledge! Professional, friendly, punctual, and easy going. We saw sooo much and never felt rushed at all. Loved the extra few stops in between just to check out cool things and get some rum punch =D We got to crack some nutmegs, taste amazing chocolate, enjoy amazing views at the forts, and swim at a Waterfall (all to ourselves!!). Would definitely recommend.
