Discover the enchanting Tamarind Falls, known locally as 7 Waterfalls, on a captivating hike through Mauritius' lush heartland. This adventure takes you through tropical forests and volcanic landscapes, revealing five of the seven stunning waterfalls.
This hike offers a rewarding exploration of Mauritius’ natural beauty. You’ll traverse narrow trails, climb some steep sections, and enjoy expansive viewpoints overlooking cascading waters and deep canyons.
Please note: This trek is medium level, but some parts can be challenging and may be difficult for seniors, young children, or those with limited mobility. We recommend sturdy shoes for uneven terrain.
Along the way, enjoy refreshing swims in natural pools carved by the falls and a well-deserved waterfall massage.
Ideal for active families and those comfortable with moderate hiking, this approximately 3-hour trek allows time to relax and swim in tranquil surroundings.

5.00It is not recommended to put on the best clothes - as afterwards you may not be able to use them (become very dirty). In addition, you should be aware that the tour really goes over hill and hill, sometimes with 80% gradients. The views you have on the tour are breathtaking. So if you are fit....do!
The hike is a must in Mauritius!

5.00The falls were really worth seeing. However, I wouldn’t do the tour on my own, as the trails are not quite easy in some cases and it is much more climbing than hiking. With Stephano as our guide, however, we felt in good hands at all times. He showed us exactly where to step and guided us safely through the track. Besides, he knew the best vantage points. Overall, a great experience – especially thanks to the good care.

5.00Very nice hike with stephano. This one tells very well the place, the flora and is very considerate. This is a beautiful discovery, do not forget his hiking shoes. The descent to the 7th waterfall is quiet and pleasant. The climb a little less, but there are no big difficulties. I recommend this excursion and swimming on site.

5.00Intense hiking for novices of sports activity but quite doable. Be careful not to be dizzy all the same, the trails are sometimes very steep.

5.00We did the tamarind stunts, with the indispensable help of our guide Benedict, the beauty of this site is deserved , It's beautiful . Be careful, however it is necessary to be equipped with hiking shoes, practice a sports activity because it is quite cardio, the waterfalls are located between two volcanic mountains. Thank you very much to our guide for his idea on steep, slippery passages. Many pictures.

4.00I recently completed the 7 Waterfalls hike and the scenery was absolutely spectacular — truly the highlight of the experience. Each waterfall had its own charm, and the lush surroundings made the journey feel wonderfully immersive. Our guide, Shameem, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the area. His insights added so much more depth to the experience. That said, the hike was definitely not moderate. I found it extremely difficult, with very slippery and steep downhill sections, followed by some tough, deeper uphill climbs. Anyone considering it should be prepared for a demanding trek and wear proper footwear. Beautiful, but far more strenuous than advertised.

5.00We had a wonderful hike at the 7 Cascades. Our guide, Shameen, was fantastic—knowledgeable, helpful, and full of great stories about the area. We felt completely safe the entire time and really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

5.00After all we had private tour with really nice guide Arshad. He was super chill, friendly and knows the route really well and give us many tips and tricks to survive 😁 we went as a couple, we swim at the 5 waterfall and really enjoy the time there.
