Hospital Cave is a miniature hospital in the heart of the mountain, built in 1963–1965 during the war, including 3 floors and 17 separate rooms with various functions.

natural cave with many stalactites in the cool cave where you can hear the sound of tiny drops of water flowing down from the stalactites on the ceiling, through 300m long from the side through the mountain to the other side.

Climb up hundreds of stone steps and the forest trail to the top of Ngu Lam Peak, where you can see the majestic beauty of the primeval forest on the islands (up and down to Ngu Lam Peak in 2 hours). Hiking down to see the flora and fauna specimen gallery in Cat Ba National Park.

In the forest, you will hear the symphony of the mountains: birds singing, the sound of insects, and the call of animals such as mink, squirrels, and monkeys.

The tour guide knew everything about the jungle as that's the place where he grew up so he tells really interesting stories, nice relatively easy hike

Really enjoyed the 1/2 day tour of the caves and hike in the forest. The tour guide was so accommodating by reversing the afternoons itinerary in hopes the rain would stop for the hike later. And it worked! The only thing I would have liked was a little bit much re a the history or details about the Hospital Cave.

The tour was very well organised & I enjoyed it pretty much. Our Tour Guide & the Driver were super-friendly & accompanied us through the morning. The hike was really spectacular & we additionally got enough time to enjoy the calm scenery. We even got pictures & a video from a drone on the peak! The caves were also beautiful. All in all a perfect tour which I can highly recommend!

Yesterday afternoon I hiked half the day. The walk up is tough, the view more than makes up for it. Then visited 2 more caves. The guide gave a clear explanation of everything and paid close attention to whether everyone could handle the pace.

Highly recommended! Anh picked us up and took us to visit a stunning cave and a hospital cave (which, unfortunately, was closed today). Afterwards, he led us on a beautiful hike through the forest, where we saw lots of wild animals. Throughout the tour, Anh took great photos and videos of us and the wildlife we encountered. To our surprise, at the end of the hike, he had already put together a lovely video capturing all the best moments from the day! Truly an unforgettable experience ☺️ Anh and the driver were also incredibly kind. They even provided us with bottled water and mosquito repellent. Couldn’t recommend this tour more!

The guide was amazing!!! From the pick-up in the morning to the drop-off in the afternoon. I had so much fun. It can be challenging, but the reward at the top is worth it 😃🌟

It was a very nice hike. The view was fantastic. Due to a typhoon warning, the tour was rescheduled. Everything communicated great. Instead we looked at 2 caves and learned more about Buddhism.

We had a great tour! We were picked up from our hotel and, in a small group of just three, we started the tour at Hospital Cave, which was really interesting. Afterwards, we went on a hike with our guide, who provided us with vivid descriptions and information. The view from the summit was beautiful! We also saw another cave and a pagoda and felt like we were truly immersed in the island's nature and culture.

A lovely half day treking tour. The guide, Anh was really lovely, helpful and informative with good English. We did a climb through the jungle which was great, Anh spotted some wildlife and we're rewarded with a great view. The caves were good, very interesting as was the information on the Buddhist pagoda. A great morning our, highly recommended.
