We drive up to an hour from Tallinn's city center. We end up in Estonian nature, where you probably won't meet any other tourists. Because the site I'll take you to is away from the typical travel agency routes and you can't get there by public transport. At the same time, you shouldn't worry because all the trails are in good condition and as scenic as they get. The hiking part takes up to 3 hours. Estonia is a pretty flat country, but in this area, you'll see some fast-changing landscapes, beautiful lakes, bogs, and forests, which will give you a good quick overview of what Estonian nature is like. After the hike, we drive back to Tallinn, where I can drop you off at any location you prefer. So in 5 hours, you can claim that you have been to Estonia and experienced what its nature has to offer in full.

This tour is open to the elements, so dress properly. There is no bad weather only wrong clothing. As the weather in Estonia is quite unpredictable, be prepared for anything.

Easy hiking trail in a large nature reserve about an hour drive from Tallinn. You probably won't meet any other tourists there. Jagala Waterfall

One of the only few waterfalls in Estonia. Highest natural waterfall near Tallinn. The waterfall is approximately 8 metres high and more than 50 metres wide. Beautiful and photogenic nature site, which looks different in every season. Good place for photos and viewing the falling water from different angles. No additional hiking is required.

My wife and I had a lovely time on this trip to Estonian nature. Johan was warm and welcoming, and knowledgeable about so many things. We managed to get out in the first snow before it had melted and enjoyed beautiful views of frosted lakes. The trek is very manageable and well kept. Johan gave us options too if we wanted to change the itinerary, but we were happy to stick to the plan as described, stopping for a warm brew before continuing onto the waterfall. We would both recommend this tour.

Amazing trip out to the countryside with Juhan. We had magical scenery with a slight dusting of snow. Great gentle hike. Would recommend to anyone visiting Tallinn.

The guide was thoughtful, attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the journey. It was such a pleasure to join Juhan for this carefully curated tour including bogland, forest, lakes and a stunning waterfall. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing hike and learnt so much about Estonia’s past and present. Would highly recommend!

This was a great experience overall. A beautiful variety of Estonian nature, and enjoyed the tranquility being far away from the crowds of the Old Town. Juhan was a fantastic guide, friendly and insightful. And as a solo traveler who has a hard time getting good photos of myself that aren't selfies, I really liked that he was taking photos and videos throughout the tour. Would definitely be interested in other tours offered when I return to Estonia

Juhan is very knowledgeable about his country of Estonia and is eager to spread his wealth of knowledge with those who tour with him. Hiking, hearing the birds sing, and enjoying existing alongside nature made this tour even better. Lastly, we went to Jägala Falls and got a chance to see the beautiful water. Juhan went above and beyond. I recommend this tour to all.

I had an awesome experience with Jurhan to the bog and Jagala Waterfall! Jurhan patiently answered my numerous questions about Estonian culture and the bog :). He came well prepared with umbrellas as well cus it was rainy at the start of the trip. This tour is strongly recommended for anyone who enjoys hiking and soaking in nature!
