In this half day Hyderabad tour, we experience the legacy of the Nizams by visiting the incredibly lavish Chowmahalla Palace and the magnificent collection of SalarJung at his Museum. We will end the tour at Charminar, the icon which symbolizes the grandeur of Hyderabad.

This tour is organized by Five Senses Tours, a private limited company recognized by the Ministry of Tourism and a member of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). 130 PM- Hotel pick up commences for half day Hyderabad tour 2PM- Choumahalla Choumahalla, the Palace of the Nizams who were at one time the richest people in the world is the next halt in this Hyderabad tour. Some of the noteworthy sections in this Palace include a water fountain, vintage cars, intricate carvings, glass chandeliers and the grand durbar hall. During the heydays of the Nizams, as many as 7000 attendants used to man this Palace! Our guide will give you an insight into the personal and political life of Nizams of Hyderabad.

3PM- Salarjung Museum Our half day Hyderabad tour takes us next to Salarjung, the most famous museum in Hyderabad. It has the world’s largest one-man Art collection. Nawab Mir Yusuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III(1889–1949) who was the Prime Minister of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, spent a fortune over thirty-five years to build this collection. The collection ranges from 2nd century B.C to early 20th century A.D of different cultures such as Greek, Roman, Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, Christian and Islamic. The best exhibit arguable is that of Mephistopheles & Margharita, the legendary characters created by Goethe.

Great way to see the city and some highlights on a short business trip to Hyderabad. Srinivasa was a great tour guide very knowledgeable. Having a tour guide was great as we hit all the important points while avoiding the crowds.

The guide’s historical explanations and information about the city were much appreciated. A few of the pieces in the museum collection are well worth the entry. However, perhaps some more discussion on what to see rather than walk through all areas may have been preferred.
